Just found this line.

"Mid is the best lane for you unless there is a Cait. Cait owns pretty much everyone in lane because of her stupid range and traps."

Just so you know, Cait is a REALLY easy lane as Mordekaiser.

Especially mid, where there are no bushes for her to get headshot charges in.

If she gets overly aggressive, you can charge into her and kill her, If she gets too passive, you can just farm, If she spams Q, it's really easy to dodge.

The only reason that you wouldn't be able to lane vs. Caitlyn, is if you use a 0-1 pot start.

She's easy with cloth armor + 5hp OR boots + 3hp.

I totally agree with the above. Randuin's is a very viable item on Mordekaiser. I finid thornmail to be a more useful because then no one wants to target you and with your insane damage output they have to target you. My build is makes Morde into a Tank/sustainable burst Mage not an actual carry Morde is meant to be able to run into the battle face first Nuke the other teams Ap or AD ranged carry when they pop on the scene while doing considerable damage to the other members of the other team and live to tell the tale.

People who down voted you obviously didnt read my guide... Thanks for taking the time to be trolls.

I recommend Thornmail for armor
and Lichbane for taking out turrets in my item section that you guys obviously didn't read.

Thornmail<Randuin's Omen<Frozen Heart.

Also, Lich Bane isn't a tower killing item, it's what makes Mordekaiser into a deadly AP carry.

There are two ways to build Mordekaiser.

1. Lich Bane, High AP, usually get DFG or at least get gunblade, heavy burst damage.

2. CDR, Spell Vamp, sustained damage.

full tank is good if you don't want to die a lot, but it's terrible if you actually want to be useful.

I see your point. Just one thing you forgot, Rylai's Crystal Scepter's passive trigger with EVERY skill of Morde. He's Siphon of Destruction, his Mace of Spades, Children of the Grave and Creeping Death(Not sure about that last one still. since it does AoE magic damage, I believe it to work) I must admit I've never tried rushing extech gunblade, but you need to adapt. If the enemy focus you down first, get some hp with Rylais. If they don't and you got a proper tank, go for your extechgunblade. I'll go try that gunblade rush right now ^^

And I will add you :)

My game name is Fox Rage

You should add me in game so we can discuss the optimal morde build. my screen name is dalems.

Also rushing the Gunblade allows you to get way more kills and regen a lot more health from your ult, skills and autoattacks.

Reason to run Gunblade over Deathcap or Rylia's
Deathcap gives you no way to get your health back when spamming Skills and no way to slow you opponent to hit them with your skills.
Rylia's you have to ult someone to get the slow to stick and then you can get in range for your other spells...This is just plain bad you want to save your ult so it finishes them off not start the fight.
Gunblade- The active is about the same range as your ult the 50% slow allows you to get in range of your other skills with a well placed flash, it does 300 more damage! And Gunblade allows you to have amazing lifesteal and spellvamp early in the game to you never have to go to base again unless you want to buy something. Also the Attack damage on gunblade boosts Mace of Spades into doing a lot of damage despite having only one point in it.
If rushing Rylia's is good for you then so be it I have 4 quadra kills in ranked 1400/1500's to prove that rushing gunblade is better :P.

+1 for me :)

1- Your masteries are awesome and useful (plus 11/16/3 looks sexy don't you think?)
2- Laning phase well explained
3- You explain clearly how to use Siphon of Destruction, you even give tip on how to Zone the enemy
4- Good runes
5- I like the way you explained why you chose each item
6- Good Summoner Spell choice and explanation
* The only down point I have, is toward the Rylai's Crystal Scepter. As you probably know, Iron Man works with your maximum health. So, having Rylai's Crystal Scepter gives you all you need. Health, AP, even a great passive. The slow passive on Rylais's Crystal Scepter is especially good on Mordekaiser since he has ,thank god -.-, ABSOLUTELY NO CROWD CONTROL. Personnaly, I get Hextech Revolver, then boots (depending on what enemy I face. Going from Sorcerer's Shoes, [[Mercury's Threads or Ninja Tabi. When they are down, I get Rylai's Crystal Scepter AND THEN I finish my Hextech Gunblade.
As you can see, you will have 1) Spell Vamp 2) Lots of healh 3) Lots of AP 4) A great CC combined with Siphon of Destruction. The early Rylai's Crystal Scepter on Mordekaiser is just insane. If you never tried it, I suggest you do :) Awesome guide in my opinion. Keep up the good work :D
