Low/mid(0-1400) elo is dominated by meta golems. High elo doesn't have a set meta right now, I believe.

the current meta consists of a support, ad botlane and a jungler. thats about mid
usually you have an ap either mid or top (mainly mid) and a bruiser (mainly top) but there are champions like jax or ap janna or kogmaw that somewhat change the teamcomp as you saw at IEM: kogmaw + support bot, apjanna mid to give kogmaw as much support as possible to make up for his lacking survivability/escapes. but mainly its bruiser top ad,supp bot and ap mid^^
