So today marked my 3rd day of playing LoL and I decided to stick with Tryandamere for a little bit...because I love playing melee DPS characters.

my problem is...I am having problem surviving early games due to the fact that I am squishy/always get ganked. I don't know how to solve this problem because it definitely plays a big role in making my team having a hard time >.<

as long as I can get the build up tyrandamere is almost indestructible..but before that he is too squishy to really do much.

Below is my current build order:

boots -> berzerker greaves -> vampiric sceptor -> B.F. Sword -> bloodthirster -> starks -> and the rest is left to see if I need to have more defense or offense. what do you guys think D:

Okay so here are some things to remember when it comes to ganks. When you are in the laning part of the game, where you level up and fight the other team. Always be aware of the map and what the other team has. If there is someone with the summoner spell, smite, chances are they have a jungler. Someone who gets gold and levels by killing the critters in the forest, then comes to gank the other lanes.

Secondly, you gotta be aware of who is not around or missing in action(mia). Be sure to never advance further than halfway down your lane and always make sure you can get back to your tower. This is because the tower will always attack an enemy champion who causes any damage when you are within range.

As for your early game, I would recommend focusing on cheaper critical strike items and less about life steal and attack damage. This is because Tryn has an amazing passive which allows him to build up tons of fury when he critically strikes anything. This fury in turn is basically a built in heal. So here's what you do to remedy the situation, Focus on staying behind your creeps and just looking for last hits and whacking everything that you can. This will provide you with money and build up your fury. In turn, the fury can heal you and keep you laning longer or save you. Also look int eh consumable section, there are health pots for 35 gold each. I sometimes buy 5 at a time whenever I recall so I can get healed if I can't whack minions to build up fury.

Here's a simple build order to help your early game:

Brawler's gloves, boots of speed + x amount of health pots, zeal, and emblem of valoer. With this you should have a decent amount of critical strike, which is only compounded with the amount of fury that you have, while having some early game survivability.

tldr; Tryndramere is less squishy when he buys health potions and he gains more benefits from early critical strike, as opposed to the usually bf sword which other ad champions like ashe need.

One of the ways to counter a Tryndamere is to be aggressive early game before he hits level 6 and get's undying rage. Ignite is another. Until you learn him better, play it safer early game and even moreso around people with Ignite.
Just a tip.

I don't see this too often, but in theory a Quicksilver Sash would be good for cleansing off heavy CC, suppression, Exhaust and Ignite. If you're having difficulty dealing with one of these, you may want to pick up a QSS (it's pretty cheap).

Furthermore, your build lacks an Infinity Edge, which is better than Bloodthirster nine times out of ten.

Lol I didn't even look at the build. A better start for Trynd is a quick Zeal followed by Infinity Edge. You need to be building crit as soon as possible. Zeke's Harbinger is unnecessary if you get The Bloodthirster.

Starks will probably bring more damage than Bloodthirster, honestly. You'd have to ask Searz the numbers exactly, but I'm 99% sure that Stark's brings more damage to the table than a BT.

That makes sense because with more attack speed you get more hits in and damage. But that would be more damage over a period of time than damage per hit, correct? Oh, and armor pen, I forgot about that but just looked so that factors in as well.
I want to look into this now tonight lol Would a starks be better before BT or replace completely? Does life steal cap out? Maybe Zeal -> IE -> Starks ->Zeal to PD -> BT? Idk, I don't play Trynd too often. What you think Jv?

There is a technical cap where you stack 6 fully stacked Bloodthirsters and you're also Nasus. But that's just hypothetical.

Thank you to jhoijhoi for the sig, and all the dividers in the guide.
