IMO the problem with dominion is the mPen/armPen buff from the aura. getting 15% armPen at level 3 makes every AD a beast, however casters (who rely on cooldowns) are only getting 5% mPen and no cdr. It just promotes the play of AD and bruisers too much (too bad those are the classes I dislike playing).
I'm back!

Yea, casters need a small buff.

Also found that point-system at least as ****ed up as matchmaking in some way.
Seeing some totally dumb Rammus beeing 3rd and up because he´s going unbeatable full tank and abusing his balls mobility to the fullest.

Even if he´s just exploiting the weaknesses in the enemies defense, facing a full-fledged champ in a defense/position-holding game... somewhat kind of annoying.
(Ofc thx to that Rammus his team faces the enemy with one man less and loses towers on their side)

Also @Urscythe:
Your idea is imo right and wrong at the same time. Ofc some changes to the point-system would be benefitting, but things like "points for tagging th tower"? Just keep that Rammus of mine in mind.

Little points for creeps for example would be indeed helping balancing the system, since they can be a huge advantage early and late if you want to make enemies defend a tower without one of your team attacking it directly.

But somehow we went off-topic I guess?

What about this then?
According to what Jun said first, ppl tend to forget about strategy in Domi.
Ofc thats true since we (I?) are talking about solo queue, but that also applies to SR.
For example: That "In SR you wont charge in alone if you see the whole enemy team doing in Baron", thats true but imo it IS a strategical method to suicide in Domi if you delay your opponents by enough. You hinder 2-3 opponents to take over one tower for 5 secs and only need around 10 secs to respawn. Seems legit to me.

It´s less the fact that ppl tend to forget their strategy thinking but more that dieing is less rewarding for the victor/punishing for the loser, turning it into a "weapon" in some way.

In my opinion, Casters are just broken on Dominion in that they NEED bodyguards or zone control to do well.

The only place with relative zone control is bottom lane. Otherwise, people completely bumrush you and you get killed before you can do anything significant.

Casters can only do well if their team is already in control AND they have long range.

Champions I've seen do very well include Lux, Nidalee, and Xerath

swain and ryze are both god tier defenders at bot, that can not only hold their point from multiple attackers but can also push with minions very well.

Ryze, a defender? Not from my experience.

Swain's super with his Ravenous Flock though - Especially if you build a Spirit Visage and Will of the Ancients then go full tank items like Glacial Shroud, Banshee's Veil, and Guardian Angel

Ryze is good but is definitely NOT god tier. God tier examples are like Heimerdinger and Karthus, who are impossible to solo push and will can wipe out your creep waves quickly and SAFELY. Ryze doesn't have the raw damage output or range to safely wipe out creep waves.

Xerath is also a very strong bot. Maokai is very strong as well, but he's not terribly safe (generally has to push into melee range for best results and has no escape method.) I've never seen a Swain go bot.

Played Brand for some time now.

Waaaay harder to be 1st or 2nd since you´ll be the one crushing anything, and are crushed in the process, leaving your mates to do the towercatching.
But by utilizing his Fireball stun its somehow managable. You hit hard for being squishy.

Imo going for raw dmg is somehow kind of lackluster. I favor utilizing items:

-CDR since you´ll clash way more and in shorter intervalls
-Abyssal is also pretty helpful since you´ll be forced in close-combat
-Even thought about getting Lichbane. If possible i try to max out my passive dmg so theres enough room to utilize Lichbanes effect.
-Rabadon is fine but I wouldnt dare to... Nothing but raw dmg only champs like Vlad or Jax should get their hands on that early.

Ofc you should avoid MANA completely. Get some Manareg/lvl seals and grab Prospector´s Ring and youll be fine.
(<-- That fact gives caster one hell of freedom)
Eveyone who goes for RoA or Archangel should be killed. Not counting someone like Ryze ofc.

And Banshee´s ?
Wouldnt want that.. That effect is of less use/MR can be gained through Abyssal e.g./Life from Rylais/Mana (above) + Mana that Swains ult sucks from you can be obtained from Frozen Heart for example.

Kog in general is ridiculously strong in Dom. He gets insane range, and even if he builds AD you still have to buy a bunch of MR to not die horribly to that %HP skill of his. I still think Vayne is worse (****ing ******** mobility combined with absurd damage), but Kog's damned close.
