1. They're appreciated, and their post was helpful/funny/whatever
2. If they keep doing things like that, they'll get more Rep
I often wish I knew where random +Reps came from. That way I'd know what kind of posts people want to see more of. Most of the time you can figure it out, but sometimes it just comes out of nowhere.

@Psi, I have no idea where my last ten came from. Generally I think I get them from making joke/sarcastic comments or when I write a good ol' wall of text about stuff. I know I got a bunch from my first thread (the one about the EU split).

I'd agree his GUIDE was utter ****, and honestly he put no effort into it.
The reason I upvoted, however, is because honestly, if people build Nidalee like the best Nidalee in the world rather than what somebody else thinks, the general standard of Nidalee will go up. Though he didn't explain it (and I honestly thought he should have), the build was spot on.
I did, too, see a sense of urgency with his guide, and I honestly think that CLG just joined with Mobafire for some self promotion, they really didn't want to make any guides. However, I'd much prefer it if someone took the best Nidalee in the world's build, though unexplained, than a worse build that was explained, or if they referenced Hotshot's choices with something from another guide.
My point still stands that there should be pro recommendations, then all they do is press one button and don't have to write any guides.

no not really. as i said a good build doesnt make a good player. just because they all decide to build the same way just lets enemies know what to expect.

Yeah but having the best ox and cart and being able to figure out the rest- even if it means asking people along the way to find your destination, is better than having a **** ox and a **** cart and having the best map in the world, and the ox and cart fail at getting you there cause they're ****.

If I have the best build and play like a noob, I'll lose.
If I play quite well, but have a worthless build, I'll still probably lose.
You need both the build and the technique (and the technique to adjust your build ^^) in order to be a good player. It's a shame that the pro guides only seem to give us a portion of what makes them successful.
And like I said, assuming every pro build is good, there's no point in having a scoring system for them!
