Updated with Fizz Patch and mastery changes, not much else to report. Makes vlad a tad more viable.

Personally, I really dislike starting off with boots of speed. You should make it worth your beginning taking Amplifying Tome or Regrowth Pendant. I always get my Hextech revolver as soon as I am fed early game since it gets me to stay longer in lane, I take it even before my boots normally. After that I get boots, then I get Rylai's, then Rabadon's Deathcap. For the last 2 items it depends if I am fed enough or not, and what is the other team. But getting very early Spell Vamp and Slowing ability is, on my behalf, the way to win a game with vlad.

I used to run an Amyplifying Tome on Vlad first thing, but after awhile I hated getting out-ranged by enemy laners and being so slow early on when trying to land my Q on them to harass. I went the way with boots and never looked back [since you've got no real early game ganking power you might aswell get the AP later on, i like getting a hextech as soon as i reach the 1.2k gold mark, it is a core item [WotA] on Vlad]

Shall try it out. Agreed with some of the vlad buffs but honestly people would just complain about the range increase on his q. In my opinion they should increase the range on his e to be just slightly under his q so a e + q harass combo is more easily pulled off as vlad is a little underpowered at the moment compared to strong, damage over time ap casters like Morgana and Swain who are both similar IMO.

Thankyou for the feedback everyone;

-I have reconsidered my dodge rune setup with Vlad, now it is either a choice of Armor or Health [the health runes is what i'd prefer more though]. A rune setup which aims to lessen the struggle of early game is what I wanted.

-I max second because that combined with your deals soo much damage in mid-game, I find the health cost for what offers gives me conflicting thoughts about using it or not. I don't use it much defensively early to mid-game, and would rather have the increased damage from my . Maybe if the pool had more offensive capabilities like the slow I would consider maxing it second.

-Changing the description so it reads that you can either get the if you are strapped for cash or go straight for the . You need some good magic pen at that point in the game or your spells won't hit for much.

-I've tried plenty of games rushing a Rabadon's, but I think you gimp yourself for a long duration of time trying to build that when you can build these other items to get you some healthy CDR, health and AP. You can rush a Rabadon's if you want, but I find more success going my route with items.

Again thanks for the input everyone, I'll use the guides provided to make my guide a little more pleasing to the eye.

Vlad should rush Rabadon, without it his kill-stealing power is reduced to ~15%.
I''m not a fan of Dodge Runes on Vlad, HP/per level is the only seals I really see awesome at him, he needs HP.
Teleport, nah. Vlad is ought to stay at lane for an extended duration, way longer than most of the characters, cause there is almost no chars with such sustainability as Vlad's one. By the way, Hemoplague with 1 second stun. You don't even know how much this would boost Vladimir, this would make the Nigga so viable against other casters.

By the way, remove the Haunting Guise from your items. You are building it way too late to be effective. The current purchase order is fine, but lose the Haunting Guise

Why level Tides of Blood second when you can reduce the cooldown of your Sanguine Pool significantly?
I'm also a bit confused as to why you would use 9x Greater Seal of Evasion. If you're not gonna get the dodge masteries or any dodge items such as Ninja Tabi, I think getting 9x Greater Seal of Armor would be a better choice.

I would suggest working on making your guide look more visually appealing. A few useful links:

Good luck on further improving the guide ;)

Agreed on the runes indeed, Greater Seal of Armor beats Greater Seal of Evasion! Tides of Blood can be levelled before maxing Sanguine Pool to improve Vladimir's damage. However, you are not taking Flash you should not even think of this. Just go for Flash and lose the Teleport or Ignite!
