I'm working on it my self, but still i don't think the ie is the way to go. i'd rather have the bloodthirster over the ie. bb and rico are still massively strong damage dealers. buy maybe that's cause i suck at life and used to hate triforce, as well.

Well
Infinity Edge adds a consistent 80 damage so at times that is even higher than
Bloodthirster and you are auto-attacking enough that a little over 50% crit chance is nice.

I agree that the crit chance is great for aa's. but sivir's power still lies mainly in her bb and rico's, which benefit more from the consistent 100 dmg of the bloodthirster. just my thoughts...

But that it's not necessarily consistent 100 damage is my point. You will likely be targeted first in fights and although I am usually able to stay alive there are many times where you die and then you are back to 60 damage whereas the infinity edge remains at 80. I am not sure exactly how long it takes for
Boomerang Blade to recharge late game with the cooldown reduction I have, but say is it 5-6 seconds. You will be getting off at least 8-10 other attacks during that time and for at least half of them to crit for 250% damage increases your damage significantly.

With Infinity Edge
Theoretical outcome (over 5 seconds)
Attacks 8.12
Total Life Stolen 1482.259
Total Criticals 4.791
Total Bonus Critical Damage 1604.985
Total DPS 1058.756
Total Damage inclusive 5293.781
With Two Full Bloodthirsters
Theoretical outcome (over 5 seconds)
Attacks 8.12
Total Life Stolen 2101.308
Total Criticals 2.761
Total Bonus Critical Damage 980.155
Total DPS 792.946
Total Damage inclusive 3964.732
It's hard for me to say which is better out of these two situations. Infinity edge does significantly more damage in those five seconds through auto-attacks, but you get less health back and BB and Ricochet would be slightly weaker.
rico now applies on-hit effects on all bounces...bingo! crits!
It made sense not to build it before, but now she's just like every other AD carry. So build dem crits.
