Nidalee AP isn't a viable solo top, and is worse than bruiser nidalee late game for team fights unless you're running a poke comp.

Singed rushes RoA because he scales insanely well with HP and Mana.

Karma has a heal and a shield, and should build resistances instead of health, Chain Vest + double Cloth armor vs AD, Negatron + Null-Magic against AP.

Resists just work better against the sustained damage top laners.

What Karma needs to have heal and shield? Mana! And which item as so high mana while giving high AP? Rod of Ages.

Regardless of what you think of Tank/AP Cho, it's still a viable build for him.

I was thinking of him and Singed for Catalyst.

No.

(Yes but it's just horribly inneficient)

Catalyst is unnecessary on Cho, he has tons of natural sustain through his passive and a lot of health from his ultimate. Catalyst would be an overkill.
Better go for Frozen Heart/FoN.

Yes.

But they're so expensiiiiive.

I can see going for Glacial Shroud or a Negatron first though.

Yes. (Not more expensive than an RoA though.)

Glacial Shroud > RoA.

Or even just straight banshee's veil lol.

She has FLAT AP from her passive, and that combined with her heal/shield ability means that She doesn't scale well with AP or HP, and scales really well with resistances and CDR.

Glacial, and Spirit Visage are both extremely strong on Karma.

I imagine RoA could be a good Karma item but I don't play her or AP's so my opinion really doesn't matter! :P

I could just be flat out wrong.

Yeah just like everyone else flames it down.

Doesn't mean anything, League of Legends in NA is not a receptive audience.

Just try it out, see how it feels, etc.

Also some people are just not right clickers. They are not comfortable with the style of play that is right clicking as a melee.

*Shrug*

Those people have to build AP on everything because it's all they know how to do. You'll see AP players building AP items on Cho, and AD players building right click things :P

Yeah, playing melee AD feels awkward to me. That's why jungle and solo top are my weakest roles.

I'll get around to trying it out sometime though.

You're used to kiting around and such as an AP and an AD carry.

As a melee, it's your job to get hit. You want to be the one getting hit in place of those other champions.

I know more or less how to tank, I mained Shen for my first 150 wins and I played Cho as a tank/AP for quite a while a few months back. I'm probably a little out of practice with it though.

It's just melee AD/tanky DPS/offtank champs that throw me off a little.
