Replace Phantom Dancer with Force of Nature and you have my approval. You'll still get a nice MS boost, but that MR and hp5 is invaluable as well.

Trinity Force is really all you'll ever need for damage. I don't mind Bloodthirster in the build because you can get ridiculous in-fight sustain just by throwing out a few Siphoning Strikes. The bonus physical damage from Q scales with lifesteal.

EDIT: You could also replace Bloodthirster with Zeke's Harbinger if you're looking for more supportiveness and some armor reduction.

I'll do as you say. I may or may not keep the Nashor's in there just for the CDR, but I will try it out in-game to see how it works as-is.

The old bad way is to build full AD.

The new good way is to essentially build full tank.

Then this is something in-between, but closer to the new good way. A little utility and CDR from Nashor's Tooth, plus the great boost from Bloodthirster (which you can farm with your Q, after getting Force of Nature for the hp5 and MR) but with Randuin's and Warmog's adding the heavy tankiness needed for the late-game damage you will take.

This. Also Trinity Force is core.
Build to counter enemy team, stay alive and sustain, focus down their carries.

I already responded to that, if you look above. The build follows the general tanky trend, while still requiring a more aggressive playstyle in order to be effective.

Although Trinity Force is a good core item with it's many effects, it isn't completely necessary to include in a Nasus build. I find that, unless you are struggling or a newer player (in which place a more balanced core will be useful), Nashor's Tooth gives a great attack speed, a little mp5, and AP, plus that pleasant 25% CDR which if great for Nasus' Q. I might switch FoN for TriForce, or Randuin's, but only if the situation calls for it.

Nashor's Tooth is a completly cost inefficient item, you can't use the AS really well and the AP is totally wasted.... And the mana regen, too.

You just waste so many gold for only cdr...

Get Youmuu's Ghostblade, if you want an item with as and cdr...
He is gonna kill you!!!

I'd like you to read the stats on Trinity Force and then come back and tell me how Nashor's Tooth is better. TF compliments his kit really well.

CDR is better coming from sources other than an item such as Nashor's Tooth for a champion like Nasus, not to mention it contradicts going "heavy AD" and would not be very gold efficient for him.

Exactly what i was thinking.
If u wanted to go in the lines of dps'ing and doing damage ur 3 item core would prolly be something like:
Starks fervor, Tri-force, Ghostblade.
why starks and Ghostblade? because arpen scales with arpen! As in for every point of armour u penetrate, the next point is gonna be worth more than the latter u reduced/removed.
u want to get your enemy as close to zero as possible so he will be taking true damage from your q. With the MS from ghostblade u're gonna be actually able to catch carries and when u do.. THEY WILL DIE!
Max 3 AD items though since anything after that, is a total disgrace and waste.
Ty MM and Blood for the sigs :3 | Rammus is comming back - heard it here first!

For me Starks is more of an icing on the cake type of deal aka situationally awesome (after I'm already tanky and wouldn't mind some extra life steal, AS, and ArP for the squishies).
