Great guide!

Quite informative and a great one to follow. Love the colors~ I do think you should also add a section about champs ppl face when playing Orianna and also how to counter these champs or if you should even play Orianna against these certain champs. Otherwise a very nice guide.

Well, think about it, with Tear of the Goddess, you will get the same mana-stacking effect, but without getting AP from it (yet). And when you don't have a lot of mana, Archangel's Staff doesn't give you a lot of AP. Actually, it gives you 3 AP for every 100 mana. And that's 33 skills to use to get additional 100 mana from the Tear. Not hard, but it's just 3 AP :D

An updrage from Tear of the Goddess to actual Archangel's Staff costs you 1860 gold. I'd rather get a Needlessly Large Rod and get those 80 AP at an instant while I'd keep spamming and stacking my mana.

Also, if you get Rod of Ages, it adds a lot of mana to your mana pool.
Therefore, Archangel's Staff will have much stronger effect.

Generally with Archangel's Staff the best strategy is to get the Tear of the Goddess early, stack it, get a couple of mana giving items, Rabadon's Deathcap and then get Arch staff and rock it with huge AP boost that it gives :D

;)

@albableat:

In first time, let me show you my most sincere thanks for your comment and your tips. Is always an honor to have a recommendation like this. Really, thank you!.

About some of your answers:

albableat wrote:
You have only 5 items selected in your core build. Add something :)

I have selected only 5 because there is in item build / explanation chapter a list of situational items which can be the sixth =).

albableat wrote:
You don't have any health/defense items which is a little worrying. I'd put in something like Rod of Ages or Rylai's Crystal Scepter

Me too. First was Rylai's Crystal Scepter on build as sixth item. But I prefer to remove it from cheat sheet to leave it as sixth item to left it as situational item like Rod of Ages.

What's good in rushing Archangel's Staff? Get Tear of the Goddess the do the rest of your build and build Arch Staff in the end, when you already have the stacked mana from tear.
It's much more efficient.

I really appreciate all your tips, I will regard the guide and create a good update based on this new knowledge!

My best regards~

I like your explanations and the guide overall.

Some things that I'd like to point out.
  • You have only 5 items selected in your core build. Add something :)
  • You don't have any health/defense items which is a little worrying. I'd put in something like Rod of Ages or Rylai's Crystal Scepter
  • Regarding the RCS. It's good on ANY caster. Yes, you already have a slow, but isn't it better to have it on all of your abilities? + it provides a lot of health and AP, which are important stats for a mage.
  • Will of the Ancients may not be as good on Ori, since her abilities are all AoE and you get much lesser percentage of spellvamp on AoE abilities. But it's still a viable pick.
  • What's good in rushing Archangel's Staff? Get Tear of the Goddess the do the rest of your build and build Arch Staff in the end, when you already have the stacked mana from tear.
    It's much more efficient.

    I like your guide :) +1
    And your English is very good :) Don't be intimidated by that in any way.

@MysticalZelda:

Thank you for your vote and your opinion about the guide. I +rep you for helping.
About the Rylai's Crystal Scepter I use it to compensate the health that Ori needs to survive. Plus, maybe I will change it for RoA, thank you for the tip!.
Anyway, I will finish the Item Build & Sequence soon for another items you can take.

Also, in Summoner Spells chapter I explain you can use Flash too if you feel you want it instead of Ghost. Check out if you didn't (^^).

Regards, and again, thank you! (^^).

Nice guide, though Id disagree with the Rylais crystal scepter, since Orianna already has a slow, so it might be better to get something like a RoA to get tanky. Also I mostly don't get Archangel or Lich bane. Plus if people are stacking MR, Void staff might be a better item.

As for summoners, I also kinda disagree with ghost, since Orianna already has a speedbuff, so Flash is better to instantly reposition yourself.

@Apfeljack:

First of all, thank you really much for this critic comment. Really motivates to still working. Now I proceed to answer your questions:

  • Yes, I think you're right in the fact you say I should archive the guide first. But I really like to show people how this guide is being under a hard working to give my knowledges about Ori to people. But now you say maybe I would do this. That's my opinion, of course (^^).
  • I know is not necessary to show all items in the cheat sheet, and I was thinking about it. You're right, now I see, it looks a bit confusing. But I'll leave this like now till I finish the Item Build & Sequence chapter (^^).
    About the Elixir of Fortitude, I usually get it along Elixir of Brilliance in matches where gold is now useless (because I already get my full stuff) to add more survability. Of course I will explain it!.
  • About the runes, these runes synergize with the seals. With these, the seals, and masteries it gives you a nice amount of AP each level (2-3 maybe, I didn't calculate it exactly). But I welcome a better choice, of course (^^)

Oh, and one thing, I +rep you for so nice comment. I really liked and appreciate your opinions and tips!

Wow this is looking good!
I love Orianna - makes me glad to see a new guide for her once in a while. She's so much fun!

Maybe you should archive your guide first, complete it and then re-publish it again. I know, it takes some patience but it's better eventually. Otherwise, people might vote you down because it's still incomplete.

Your item choices aren't bad but it's not necessary to list all the branch items in the cheat sheet, imo. It even looks a bit confusing like this.
(And I'm not sure if Elixir of Fortitude is important enough for Orianna to be mentioned in the build ... could you explain?)

Another thing I don't understand are the 9 x Greater Seal of Scaling Ability Power. Do they really pay off? I think there are better Seals than those. But maybe I'm wrong.
