Not really. People trained themselves to only handle one kind of team combination: The Metagame. When you throw a curveball at them, they don't know what to do. Sure, it can be something stupid like 2 mid, ap bot, and adc top. As long as you know what you're doing, then you're surely going to win against the other team depending how trained they are to follow the metagame standard.
In my eyes jinlee your team comp was stronger and add to that 2 global ultis.
If you for some reason want to follow my ranked journey to gold, you can do it Here.
I am against asking for rep, only rep me if you think I contributed well or said something wise.

If you outplay your opponents and pressure them when you get an advantage, you can win with the most ridiculous team comps. Your lane setup and team comp only really matters (imo) when you're up against players of equal skill. Usually the weaknesses of a team comp start to show mid-late game when 5v5s start happening a lot. If you picked a comp that's super squishy or has no CC or no damage or something, that's when it'll start hurting you.
Sometimes I look at my team and think that our comp is too weak and we'll probably lose, but we end up gaining an advantage so quickly that we win before it matters. A few games ago I played Evelynn and ended up being one of the tankiest members of our team just because of my ult.

like today my team was composed of gangplank(me), a first time ryze as my top partner, karthus mid, and caitlyn and soraka bot
vs irelia and garren top, teemo mid, and fiora and tarrick bot
