This is basically a continuation of the 9/11 thread.

Ever heard of colonial wars? Seems like you didn't. Or even Angola? If you even know what Angola is. Or the intense slavery Protugal did in Africa? I guess you don't either. And for your information, yes, turning a whole continent into slaves count as a genocide. Of course, portugal wasn't the only one out there. Every single major country in Europe was with them.

Every single major country out there made genocides, but guess what? NO ONE have a day to remember them.

********, even my country, Canada, made genocides back when they first came to North America. Both the frenchs and the englishs butchered thousands of indians, anihilating whole populations. This also count as a genocide.

Tell you what, find me a single major country who didn't do any genocides. I dare you.

P.S. I had to edit since I pressed reply too soon and didn't want to double post. That's why theres an edit button.

@Fox Rage
Haha. No. The colonial wars did not count as a genocide. There weren't that many civilian causalities. But hey, I'm glad you brought that up. In that war the USA chose to support the Angola People Union (direct translation) which WAS killing innocent civilians. They were butchering and beheading the men who worked at farms along with their wives and children. This had to be brought to the UN by Portugal or it would have continued.
Maybe next time you should pick a war were the US weren't backing up the side that was butchering the innocent. That would certainly help your point.

Also, the colonial war was done under a dictatorship. Portugal itself was in deep **** as well. There were failed rebellions one after another and we weren't able to overthrow the dictatorship for quite some time. Luckily one of those rebellions worked, and the dictatorship as well as the colonial war ended that day. Another funny thing, there was a US battleship in Lisbon that was supporting the dictatorship and was going to stop the rebellion. Lucky thing the US was slow this time, right?

I think you owe me those 25$. Steam wallet or Pay pal would be preferred.

I recognize their losses and I honestly would rather not have them be casualties too (most of them by their own people, mind you), but 9/11 is a day in AMERICA (not your country mind you) that is important to Americans for what was lost on that day when people who's intentions of doing nothing but hurting the innocent slayed thousands of people for their political beliefs by way of running 2 planes into the twin towers.

Too bad you still don't see the point of 9/11. I don't really blame you, you're not apart of my country.

And no Canoas, I didn't take a day off work for 9/11. I spent the time from 8:45-9:00 at my job to take a moment of silence with my fellow coworkers who also lost loved ones on that day to remember them and pay our respects to them. We remember 9/11 because we lost people who meant a lot to us. You wouldn't really understand that though, all you're hell bent on doing is proving that everyone in America deserves to die/America is evil.

But the tens of thousands of innocents killed for political reasons by the way of sending an army to country that has nothing to do with America don't get remembered or respected. Sounds like America all right.
