But working at that job temporarily is a good way to get cash, especially if there's nothing else constructive to do half of the day. I had a few part time jobs just to earn a bit of spending money for books/extra college expenses. While most people are piled high in college debt, I've been able to pay most of it off while in college thanks to the little work I've done in college. That creates work experience (no matter how bland the work was) which got me a good job on campus. From that job, I was able to transfer in a position that pays almost triple of what I earned there. All that thanks to work experience from the humble minimum wage job. You cannot put a price on work experience, no matter how belittling it is. You have to start somewhere, for some, it's McDonalds, for others who get lucky, a cozy office job.

By using slavery, people are trying to assimilate that group. Take away all the man, mess up the educations of their kids, and their ya go. A nice little country that is now dependant on yours.
That's not in the definition for genocide, therefore it's not genocide.
Show me a definition that says slavery is considered genocide.

And bananas are yellow. What does that have to do with anything said so far?

Getting to 'living the best way possible' has its beginnings. You can't honestly expect to have jobs thrown your way because of a degree (for the most part). Having SOME work experience is always lovely to have on a resume. You can bounce your way up from working at the bottom more easily.
Also, keep up the snide remarks. It's so cute and adorable <3

I used a generic you. It wasn't aimed at anyone in particular. You need to start somewhere. You can't expect awesome jobs to fall from the sky tomorrow.
But ask yourself Canoas. What if working part time job at mcdonald was one of the best living way you can have at the moment? What if you only need a bit of money to help you out? Would that make mcdonald a better job according to you?
I'm going to work right now, but I'll answer your post about slavery once I come back.
+rep me and you'll get good karma, wich means you won't be reincarnated into a rock! Isn't that awesome?

But yes this idea has been discussed more than Pam Anderson's tits in a plastic surgeons office.

Are you serious? You're going to say that flipping burgers at mcdonalds is a good job?
Ok then, I respect your opinion, but I'll ask you this: Why the **** are you in college? You don't need a degree to work in mcdonalds.
I don't think working at mcdonalds is a good job. I never said it was. You said it was " a fact mcdonalds is a ****ty job" and it's not, that's your opinion. It's also my opinion that working at mcdonalds is a bad job but neither of those are facts. I'm in college studying to get a degree in hopes of being qualified for a job after college.

Thanks for the Signature MissMaw!

No, it would still be a ****ty job. Just like if the only thing to drink you have is piss it won't change the fact you're drinking piss.

It's not an opinion, it's a fact. You can easily and objectively qualify jobs by work load, income, etc.

Working at McDonalds = customer service experience = something of value earned. The pay is appropriate for teens if anything, it's not meant to be a permanent job, but its value, is there and it's a catalyst to use to get a better job elsewhe
A ****ty job is a job that pays minimum wage that has no redeeming qualities whatsoever.
Either or, the term ****ty job is matter of personal definition. Arguing this point is pointless, especially when all you're going to say "No ur wrong and im riht cause i said so" which is being done by both sides. Either or, i got the cozy job I work at now thanks to starting at that level. You wouldnt see the value cause you have no job experience. Maybe you'll see someday..... whenever you get a job, that is ^_^
