The enemy team tried a [[Maokai]] lane gank to repair the damage (which we were aware of because we had the lane brush warded), but that resulted in a triple kill for me, only furthering my lead. Meanwhile [[Shen]] had trouble against [[Darius]] top but didn't feed ([[Darius]] did have quite a big lead in cs, however) and AP [[Teemo]] did well against the flavor of the month pick AP [[Evelynn]]. I've seen it played before, I know it can be good, this [[Evelynn]] simply wasn't. As I expected, the enemy team focused even more on bot after I picked up another kill on [[Leona]], eventually managing to kill me with a four man gank (though I did pick up a kill on [[Corki]] and was godlike for like 1 second 8D). It didn't hurt us much overall as my own team decided to come bot as well and help me out. My burst with [[The Bloodthirster]] was just incredible at this point and we picked up several Dragons and eventually a Baron before pushing mid for the win. Added the [[Taric]] to my friend list after the game as he was really nice during champ select (giving other players the roles they wanted despite not being lastpick) and in game (constantly motivating us and complimenting us after outplaying the enemy team). [[Lee Sin]] quickly went top to pick up a kill and even the score and was soon doing a lot of work for our team, succesfully ganking mid to allow [[Ahri]] to kill [[Karthus]] before ganking top again and picking up another kill. Meanwhile in bot lane, I basically forgot about our plan to be aggressive at level two until we actually hit level two, causing Luther to go in alone and barely lacking the damage to kill [[Kennen]]. I got killed by [[Cho'gath]] when he came for a lane gank shortly after, giving the enemy team the slight advantage in bot as Luther was also missing cs because of 'lag' (80 ms >.>). The enemy [[Riven]] started roaming relatively early as [[Gangplank]] stayed top to farm, causing [[Ahri]] to rage at him. With the help of [[Lee Sin]], however, she still managed to do ok and eventually they got a kill on [[Karthus]], allowing us to pick up the first Dragon. From there, the game shifted as we soon found ourselves fighting small "teamfights" in the jungle (or in lane during a gank, for that matter) more often. Luckily, we won most of them quite convincingly, the only setback being we lost the second Dragon to them and had to fight 4v5 because [[Gangplank]] was still top (we still won the fight 3-2 in kills). Our team was getting pretty fed overall and we were looking to really pull ahead when [[Ahri]] suddenly announced she only had 10 minutes left to play. Luckily, Luther's communicational skills worked like a charm as 10 minutes later she announced she had another ten minutes left to play. We were unpleasantly surprised when the enemy team had gone missing for a while and suddenly emerged from the jungle with Baron buff (my bad for not having it warded), but it didn't matter much as we killed everyone except for [[Cho'gath]] in the teamfight that ensued. After that we had one derp teamfight in the enemy base as we just were too focused on finishing the game (bear in mind the clock was ticking at this point), but I told everyone to group up again and fight them as I was pretty sure we were still stronger. The next fight was initiated after [[Lee Sin]] and [[Ezreal]] (Luther) had managed to pick up a kill on [[Soraka]] top who was out of position and we won it quite easily, allowing us to finish the game just in time for [[Ahri]] to leave. Right now this category contains [[Fizz]] (who I bought yesterday because I think he's a good solo queue champion and he's fun to play, but who will require some practice before I play him in ranked), [[Orianna]] (really strong mid that I really wanna add to my roster), [[Shen]] (just to learn him for those games in which he doesn't get banned) and [[Lulu]] (underrated imo, though still a highly situational pick). Other things I'm considering atm: [list][*]Removing [[Vladimir]] [*]Moving [[Tristana]] down to the bottom of the AD list behind [[Corki]] and [[Caitlyn]] [*]Switching around [[Leona]] and [[Blitzcrank]] as I feel more comfortable on him than on her [/list] As always I'm constantly looking to improve not only my play but also the roster of champions I can play. Since Trist often uses her jump offensively rather than to dodge CC from someone like [[Leona]], I decided against her. Since [[Caitlyn]] isn't great against such an aggressive lane because she has to be very careful when trying to poke, I decided against her too. That would leave [[Corki]]. However, I saw [[Sivir]]'s portrait and me and GMD both had the feeling she'd be a good pick. Despite me dropping her from my roster earlier because my cs is usually not good on her, my gut feeling told me I had to pick her so I went for it. Bot lane started off relatively passive with both [[Leona]] and [[Taric]] unsure about who would win trades if they'd initiate. Meanwhile, [[Skarner]] picked up first blood during a gank top while [[Ezreal]] in mid started with full AP but almost no magic resistance so GMD wasn't having too much trouble either. He did fall behind on cs before level 6 (as expected), but was able to chunk large parts of [[Ezreal]]'s HP after that. The first fight in bot lane was during a [[Lee Sin]] gank in which [[Taric]] got focused (and even [[Exhaust]]ed), but both of us managed to escape rather easily without even dropping down to 50% HP (let alone 0%). I did surprisingly well in terms of cs, but was still trailing early by 0-5 cs on the enemy [[Graves]] who turned out to be a 1570 AD Carry main and was definitely not missing out on much. It turned around though as soon as we had our first big 2v2 fight: despite the fact that I [[Spell Shield]]ed [[Leona]]'s [[Zenith Blade]] instead of her [[Shield of Daybreak]] and then [[Cleanse]]d during the animation of her [[Solar Flare]] (that's right, [i]before[/i] I got stunned), the 65% reduced duration of her ult allowed me to recover by [[Flash]]ing away and hitting a [[Boomerang Blade]] on [[Graves]] as he was trying to dive me, allowing [[Taric]] to chase and kill him while I recalled with low HP. After this fight, I had 90 cs against his 86 (after 12 minutes) and I stayed ahead of him for the rest of the game. The next trade turned out to be clearly in our favour as I shielded correctly and just chunked them incredibly hard with my [[Boomerang Blade]], forcing [[Leona]] to [[Flash]] away. At this point, the game was pretty much decided as all other lanes were winning incredibly hard (mainly because [[Irelia]] got camped and [[Ezreal]] was just unable to deal with GMD's damage without mres) and I eventually got a kill bot as our team decided to help out the last lane that was still somewhat close (even though, as I said, we were already winning trades and I was outfarming [[Graves]]). They surrendered after 20 minutes. Happy about this one, played really well. [color=red][b]ELO:[/b][/color] 1489 ----- [[Sivir]] added to my roster.
