Yes it is weird. You should play a champion based on whether or not you like their kit.
I really like the steampunky look of Caitlyn, and Orianna, but do not play either of them because they don't fit my playstyle.
Do I wish I was a humanoid fish? No, but I'll play Fizz because he's fun as hell.
Hell I HATE Kayle's look, but I played her for like a week straight a little while back, because I like her kit.
See where I'm going with this?

I only play champions if I like their looks and kit D: (EX; Viktor, Draven, Ahri, Amumu)

Teemo has a gender? I always thought Teemo was an ambiguous figure that lacked discernible gender features, or specific tags of character type... It's just.... Teemo. o.O
