Probably not, they aren't your core 6 items, the only guides they would really affect are a few support guides like yours. It should be common knowledge anyway to get wards, and the mini-build is really just a little glance to see the quality of the guide before loading it, having wards in there doesn't really affect the quality of the build if someone were to just glance at it. They still obviously aegis and shur's and zeke's and can tell that this is clearly a legitimate support guide.

We're discussing pulling general, team and humor guides out of the browse page entirely. They would get a dedicated page that was better tailored to that content and the browse page would only ever show champions. With that, now that we have a Crystal Scar map option, we can also pull the Dominion guide type out, which means we can pull the entire guide type drop down. I agree, this will greatly streamline that page. We will see about doing this :)
A possible solution for your concerns about the high elo authors dropdown could be to merge the quide quality dropdown with the author dropdown, so then there is one drop down and the options could be "Special Guests, High Elo Authors, Featured, Full Guides, Builds Only, All".
The above two solutions are relatively elegant, they make sense. I am not convinced on the sort by date/score yet. I feel like there is a solution somewhere in there but I'm not sure what it is. Another issue with sorting by score is those top rated guides are always going to show up at the top and will get MASSIVE exposure. I'm just not sure about it... We're still discussing what to do though.

We'd have to reduce the sort options to 3 or possibly 4 though... "New | Top | Active" maybe. Will consider it :)

We have removed the sort drop down, which was easy to miss and offered too many options, which we were concerned was causing a poorer user experience. In its place we have added four tabs, which are much more visible, impossible to miss, and much clearer. Head over to the browse page and take a look :)
The tabs are Updated, Newest, Top Rated and Discussion. The updated tab will show the most recently updated guides first, newest will show the most recently published guides first, top rated will show the highest scoring guides first and discussion will show the guides with the most recent comments first.
I like this a lot more, I think it makes it a lot clearer to new users what they are seeing and easier to switch views. Let us know what you think of this change!
@xHellbound, what exactly are you having issues with? Everyone we've talked to loves the new setup, and it offers more powerful features than our previous one. If you have any specific complaints please let us know, without further information there's nothing we can do to resolve your concerns.
