Don't even for one second give a single **** about what any of those people said. They exist in a world far away from Mobafire, and personally I enjoy the distance. These are the people that suck on the tit of any professional player and have no thoughts of creating an actual community.

They simply want to live in the illusion that they chose the "professional" or "correct" guide site. Bragging that they talk on the same forums and are "approved" by the gods they worship.

I mean in reading some of their comments why would they need a guide in the first place? A guy said he was a 2k elo player with a 60% win rate with Malphite yet he is looking on solomid for Malph guides? Idk I do not really find that a person of that high elo would want to look at guides.

I believe that this website is getting better in its top guides for the champions although I never found that Ahri guide to be the best guide around....

There are still some champs who need quality guides but I think it is diminishing quite a bit. Also I liked the way Jebus handled it

My #1 Guides:

Check out my new Cassiopeia Guide: Cassiopeia - The Venomous Monarch

You read other people's guides to see what they are doing. The drawback is that you're a lot more elitist about it, coz "your way" is the best.
Thank you Tsuki for the sig!

Don't hate other communities for their beliefs.
That only poses us as the "loser group who doesn't fit in"
ESPECIALLY if they're addressing a common issue everyone agrees on

I think it's better if we try to get them to understand.

edit: gj jebus :D

edit2: Xpecial commented
"People often complain about the quality of my guides, but quality is extremely subjective in terms of guide writing.
The Ahri guide by LaCorpse on Mobafire is such an example. It is seen as a very high quality guide, but it is something I would never do in my guides. Compared to my extremely outdated guide on Solomid, it can be hardly considered more useful.
LaCorpse's guide is extremely pretty and easy to look at. It contains numerous pictures, links to irrelevant videos, cool graphics and layout, and result screens of random players with a good score. To me, that is not a high quality guide, it's just a decently written guide with a lot of text and really pretty.
Most players have no credibility to their name, and to make up for that, they include more text and pictures.
Compare these two guides: Kurii and mine.
In order to get people to recognize his prominence with Sona, Kurii has plenty of graphs that show exactly how much damage each spell does, how much move speed each spell gives, and even theorycraft Sona building AD and AP. Despite it being much more detailed, more players would read my guide and care about its contents. Should I be expected to math out Sona going with a weird build, does it even make sense for me to do so?
tl;dr: Vocal minority complain about quality in guides written by pros, but the quality comes from their skill as a pro, not the math and pictures."

and his comment on Astrolia's lulu
"It's a more detailed guide and is better for someone who has never played Lulu and is willing to read the whole thing. In terms of builds, it's essentially a mirror. Also, where my guide lacks in skill descriptions, it makes up in two commentaries in high Elo solo queue matches. Astrolia's guide is also much prettier, which is a plus too."

Exactly. Nowadays there are actually some good guides top rated at mobafire. For example yours, Khazem's and mine.
