Game 74-76

Duo Queue with TheRedPenguin

First game I supported a pretty good Miss Fortune and we won bot lane while Olaf won top vs Kayle. Pengu was having some trouble mid as Diana vs Lux, but it didn't matter much going into teamfights since we were ahead overall. Our jungle Jax also became a beast late game and we ended up winning quite comfortably.

The loss after was a bit sad, we were ahead as a team but made too many mistakes in the mid game which made us unable to further our advantage and win the game. Eventually they came back because their teamfighting was better with Rammus and Cho'Gath running in to kill me (my Sona was unable to really protect me) while we only had Zed (Pengu) to jump on their Caitlyn and he wasn't able to instagib her with Thresh around. Could've won that game if we would've made less mistakes.

Finally, although the score might suggest otherwise, we were losing the third game hard (in which Pengu and I played Thresh + Graves bottom lane vs Blitzcrank- Varus).
Our top Wukong was doing well (3-0 after ~12 minutes), our mid Nidalee was feeding like no tomorrow (0-5 to Gragas after ~15 min). In an attempt to salvage something for her team, Nid came to gank bot and hopefully make us win our lane. Somehow, the gank worked out horrendously (combination of misplays and the enemy Zac jungle being there) and all three of us died, which instantly made us lose our lane as Varus got a killing spree. To top it all off, Wukong then also managed to die to Darius 1v1 multiple times despite being incredibly ahead.

Somehow, while being pushed back, we managed to do well in most teamfights due to the combination of the Malphite - our jungler - and Wukong ulti and due to my damage, as I stayed pretty strong, picking up kills every fight. With me being the only really strong champion on our team while the enemy team still had a strong Varus and Gragas, we were still fighting the odds as the enemy team eventually went for Baron. While Malphite and Wukong jumped in and used their ulties, Pengu landed a great hook on the enemy Varus (who was out of position, separated from his team) which allowed me to kill him pretty much instantly before helping the others clean up. We got Baron directly after the fight and started pushing down towers. Nidalee's spears were also starting to really hurt by this point, so it didn't take long for us to seal the deal as the enemy team surrendered after another lost fight.

That last game had been so lost that we were considering to surrender multiple times. Glad we didn't, lol.

Game 77-79

Duo Queue with TheRedPenguin

I hate this game.

First game the enemy Elise ragequit after Pengu got some kills on her with help of our jungle Volibear, while I won bot lane with a support Zyra vs Ashe- Janna. They surrendered after 20 minutes.

Second game someone on our team called AD, but then pussied out when the enemy team picked Vayne so I played Graves again, together with a Blitzcrank (while she had Alistar as support). Pengu (who was playing jungle Xin Zhao) got some work done, netting First Blood to give Katarina an advantage versus Anivia before disrupting Lee Sin's jungle for a bit. The game was a bit back and forth after that with quite some mistakes being made, but, as we went into late game, the only fed champion on their team was Lee Sin. In bottom lane we didn't manage to get Vayne behind because the Blitz I was laning with turned out to be a complete idiot, but with Xin Zhao and Katarina jumping her every fight that wasn't really a problem, especially as I was still ahead in cs and kills.

Having won two games to go from 86 to 93, I was hoping the system was gonna cut me some slack, but instead I almost lost all of it in the last game. And honestly, as much as I hate blaming others without looking at my own performance, I feel I did not deserve that. That was probably the best jungle game I have ever played (and probably ever will play, for that matter). Just to name some random things:
  • I came bot in time to help my bot lane while they were fighting, which resulted in Tristana getting First Blood before making it a double kill.
  • I came mid in time to Flash in and countergank the enemy Shen as they were trying to kill Pengu, saving his *** and killing Shen in the process.
  • I counterjungled Shen multiple times, taking his wraiths, golems and red buff at different stages of the game.
  • I set up the first Dragon for our team.
  • I came mid again to ult Shen in tower range as they were trying to kill Pengu again, this time leaving the kill to Pengu's Diana.
  • I helped our top lane Udyr (who was doing well) by diving Cho'Gath together with him ( Udyr got the kill) before killing the tower.
When things were going well for us, I disconnected. Luckily, all it did was give the enemy team a Dragon, so we were still (slightly) ahead when I came back. As we took down the next Dragon (which I made sure not to Smite), Pengu died top and the enemy team rushed Baron. Because we didnt have it warded, I couldn't see the health on it and therefore couldn't steal. They grouped and pushed down our first mid tower. Still no big problem.
However, Pengu came back thinking we were going to fight while the rest of us were backing off and we lost him again, so they killed two more mid towers and the Inhibitor. Any advantage we had was gone at this point.
Minutes later, we had a fight near bot lane (which turned out to be the final one) in which the enemy Viktor got a Quadra kill while we were all hopelessly trying to kill Vayne and the game was over. Just like that, within minutes. After I felt I had done so well. Like literally the only thing I could've possibly prevented was getting 8 kills, but even then most of those were kills I had to take or kills I got while in the heat of battle.

I play a great game in a role I absolutely suck at - the best way to sum it up would be to say it actually looked like I knew what I was doing - and we still lose. Seriously, remind me again why I even bother to try?

Game 80

Solo Queue

First game after a long while of not playing ranked cuz busy.

Bot lane was going pretty well, we were pretty even in the beginning despite Elise trying to gank 2 or 3 times, then she got First Blood for Kog'Maw mid and things started going downhill. Our Jarvan IV was incredibly behind and really didn't seem to get anything done, Ryze wasn't getting blue buffs and was unable to get back into the game, Malphite lost top on his own and got no help either.

In bot lane we actually started winning as I picked up a kill on Tristana and Taric had to back with ~5% HP, but it didn't really matter much. After a while Elise came back to bot lane (despite her earlier ganks failing she was not behind at all, zzz) and literally made it into a 2v3 lane for a good 5 minutes so we couldn't kill Tristana and Taric. Then Kog joined the party and we died along with our first tower. Game was pretty much over at that point.

Lost 10 points for this game, nuuuuuuuu :c

Yeeeaaah, I don't think he really had any idea what he was doing, lol. When Ryze asked why he wasn't getting the blue buff, Jarvan IV said "because it is your job to protect and get it".

.....Eeeeeeh, ok o_o

Anyway, got 11 points for a Graves win after that game, will post stats once I've played some more ranked games (probably not today)

I feel happy seeing you pull off Graves wins when he is a disfavored champion currently.
I challenge you to build no boots on him. =P ( Trinity Force, Zephyr, Phantom Dancer)

Game 81-84

Solo Queue

Have I mentioned before that I hate this game?

Not much to say about the first three games. Every lane won in the Graves game, almost every lane lost in the Jarvan IV game and the enemy Shaco counterjungled well, almost every lane won in the Zed game (especially me vs Elise, I was so far ahead I could 1v2 her and their jungle Olaf when he came to gank).

So after getting back up to 88, dropping to 76 and climbing to 87 again, the last game literally just killed me. I don't even know where to begin.

Our jungle Evelynn was incredibly fed after getting First Blood and some more kills/assists (including a kill on the enemy jungle Shaco which rendered him useless), our top Warwick somehow managed to go 3-0 against Nasus on his own (not saying he can't win, but he shouldn't stomp the guy) and in bot lane I was pushing the enemy Ezreal - Blitzcrank combo back and was outfarming their AD. Mid was even. There was literally nothing that suggested we would lose the game at that point.

Out of literally nowhere, the enemy teams get Dragon (unwarded) and picks up a kill on our Katarina mid. Then, Evelynn thinks she can run in 1v3 to get a kill and dies too. Warwick decides to greed for it and - wait for it, wait for it......- dies. They take our first mid tower and push on. People start flaming Janna for not warding. Janna replies with "first pick Eve OP". Eve says she carried all lanes and "we still lose omg" (please note the score was still in our favour at this point). I tell everyone to focus. Instead someone runs in alone again and we lose another fight. Our lead at this point is gone. Instead of grouping, my team decides going in one by one is still our best bet. **** logic, right? We lose two more mid towers and an inhibitor within minutes. No one is getting focused, no one on our team is getting protected, people chase for low-hp support Blitzcranks or jungle Shacos.

Eventually, I snap. I cannot believe people want to lose so badly. I think - among other things - I said "We could've won this so easily, yet instead WE ALL DECIDE TO THROW IT" and "instead of focusing on the ****ing game for a second, you guys rather trashtalk each other. Grow the **** up".

I might get reported for the amount of caps I used, honestly. I don't even care. I lost 21 points because people are too childish to admit their own mistakes, to forgive others for making a mistake every now and then and to simply focus on the game rather than trashtalk each other. A win would've probably put me incredibly close to my promo series. I am so ****ing sad right now.

Somehow the loss motivated me to play another and get the LP back rather than to give up.

Game 85

Solo Queue

I was laning against Nunu & Willump top, he was incredibly annoying but couldn't cs well so I was still able to get ahead of him rather easily. For some reason the guy was hella tanky though, so I couldn't really kill him unless there was a gank. Luckily, our jungle Nautilus helped me top a couple of times after Nunu & Willump had poked me down to low-ish HP, so that was cool.

Other lanes were doing incredibly well so we won teamfights rather convincingly, easy game overall.

Still -5 overall after 2 wins and 2 losses today, zzzz
