Here is a new passive idea for Sion.
Revenge: Sion has a 50% chance to ignore up to 15% damage each time he is hit by an autoattack and returns that damage as magic damage to the enemy. The damage reduction is calculated before armor and percentage damage reduction benefits are taken into account.

That is a Thornmail with 1/2 of the return and 1/2 proc chance. Thornmail must be so op man.

I think that would be the best solution to keep his old passive and make it stronger. I really like how it actually is for jungling and this way it also has uses later in the game.

Would make his jungling too good cause it's a passive.

Rammus has the same thing on a cooldown, making it fair.

The one of rammus is way stronger aswell. He gains bonus armor and mr and his Defensive Ball Curl also deals more damage. And why shouldn't Sion jungle fast, as he is a farm jungler? If you see, Ancient Golem has a base AD of 70, that would be just 10.5 return. Not to mention it is just 50%.

Just wait for Riot's rework. He may not even be a bruiser anymore, who knows.

Also, that passive makes almost no sense to Sion theme wise other than the damage reduction. Why the hell would he act as a walking Thornmail too?

The thing that makes this ability so OP:

It ignores 15% of the damage taken (which is quite a lot) AND it returns that amount as damage.

That is freaking OP

Thornmail is jelly of this passive bro.

Then they can remove him instead, nobody wants to play **** like that.

15% isn't OP, as at 1000 damage hit that is just 150 damage. And it has a 50% proc chance, means it actually is more like 7.5%
