When it's already been pointed to you and yet you don't see.

Firstly, when I expressed my surprise at the fact that lifesteal is optional, surely it should have somehow implied that therefore lifesteal was, in fact, compulsory. Why do you think people stack Doran's Blade or buy an early Vampiric Scepter and/or take Lifesteal Quints?

More sustain = longer time in lane = more farm/exp = faster items = better trades. It's not so much your item build so much as your itemization path.

Also, if you're ahead then it's more advisable to build a Bloodthirster as your lifesteal option and not Blade of the Ruined King, because of Ashe's synergy with critical hits.

Some ADCs can straight up 1v1 other champions simply because of lifesteal.

Boots is also an extremely poor first buy unless you have MS Quints (which, I see, you do not).

Glyphs should be magic resist except in the uncommon (but not inexistent) all-AD compositions. Either scaling or flat or a mixture of both. A lot of supports deal magic damage (actually, pretty much all of them do).

You should take 9 points in defense and not utility for better trading power in-lane and improved Barrier (should you choose to take this spell which, I might also add is a FANTASTIC spell).

In your skilling, E should be taken at level 2 to start the extra gold generation on last hits early.

As for dealing with divers, there are many defensive options a Warmog's Armor for example, makes it difficult for champions to immediately burst you down. A Randuin's Omen or Sunfire Aegis will make it hard for AD caster assassins to burst you down, and also make it impossible every other ADC to dual equally with you (had they used your exact build, for instance). Maw of Malmortius makes AP caster overestimate themselves as you lifesteal your hp back and kill them with autoattacks. Quicksilver Sash into mercurial scepter gives you a Cleanse. If possible, you also need your support or jungler to build an aegis of legion/ Runic Bulwark.

I was an Ashe main from levels 10-25, btw. If you want to keep throwing credentials around about how she's your main, you might also want to mention your tier ranking (which I have kept discreet). So your build 'works' at your level. Now think about what level you play at. Is it anything to boast about? I thought not.

I see and understand what you are saying. But again, this is more of an item build (end game) than any kind of guide. Obviously, situations will vary. And based on your situation, you will need to change the build up. Example: I would get a BT over BotRK if the enemy team didn't have a lot of health stacking occuring, as it would be a better choice in that situation.

Also, I typically get boots first so I can chase with my Frost Shot better early game, or if I have a healer as a support.

The reason I don't get MR runes, is because I like to focus on shutting the enemy ADC down early game by making it so they can't damage me and I will win basically any trade, even if they have lifesteal. As for the masteries, I will try it out and see what I think of them. I don't particularly like Barrier over spells like Ignite, Teleport or Cleanse simply because I would prefer to have the extra damage for finishing people off or reducing their healing, the free back and port to lane, or the get out of stun free than a shield. I don't deny that Barrier is useful, just not my preference.

As for the skill order, I take Frost Shot at level 2 because I am a huge poke and chase person when it comes to playing Ashe. I like to save up my passive, crit and Volley, turn on Frost Shot and then chase for free damage.

I appreciate your feedback, and will take it into consideration for it I ever decide to update this guide to a full blown guide.

Then you should be informed that your runes/masteries that have been added for 'extra content' are not the best ones to take.

And you should also be informed that your preferred item build is extremely poor.

You're covering up your poor choice of all these with even more poor excuses and when that fails, you fall back on this classic excuse of 'it's my preference' which every MF member worth their post count has seen before.

Okay then, humor me. What items would YOU recommend then if my build is so "poor". Build works just fine for me when I play Ashe (who is one of my mains, so I play her often).

WTF are you talking about? Lifesteal is compulsory, no question. I wish I could -1 this a couple more times now.

Oh yeah, as if you'd always be so fortunate as to position yourself away from the enemy team. Exceeeeeeept, the enemy has a dive composition, or you just got caught by a jungle Diana, laned against a Tristana, yada yada yada.

I imagine the pros have the best positioning in the world, yet they still take 21/9/0 masteries and magic resist glyphs because they know they will receive such a thing known as 'magical damage'.

You 'shouldn't be burst down by the enemy caster'? Hah. Keep dreaming.

Sooo, what happens if you get caught out by the APC?

You will have Guardian Angel. If you are actually getting burst down, then get it earlier.

What are you talking about? The reason I put LW and BotRK in the "situational" section is because the order you get them in is determined by how the other team is building. That being said, with proper positioning, lifesteal is not a necessity. That doesn't mean you shouldn't get it.

Pretty sure you mean glyphs should be scaling MR. As for masteries, I prefer the extra movement speed from utility, and reduced recall. The tiny, tiny bit of added armor/MR or w/e else from defense isn't really worth it IMO. And I don't run scaling MR runes because I base my Ashe build primarily on proper positioning in team fights, and if you position correctly you shouldn't be getting burst down by the enemy caster.

What do you feel is wrong with them? I don't get MR/level simply because the way I play Ashe is all about positioning, meaning you really shouldn't be anywhere near the enemy mage to get bursted down anyways.

As for summoners, there is a reason I put down nearly ever spell as an alternative to the ones I prefer.
