Yo, was just browsing the webs when I found out this little tidbit.
You know guts from berserks crossbow that he straps to his arm every now and again? Well, despite seeming to be an unusually efficient weapon for the time period, the "ZhugeNu" was actually created by the Chinese all the way back in the 4TH CENTURY. They could fire 10 shots per 15 seconds and had an effective range of 80 meters, though single shots could only kill at under 20. to compensate for this, warriors would often dip their bolts in fast acting poison to make even scratches lethal.

Just saw EP 21 myself. It was fairly good. The soundtrack is pretty great, as always.
I'm sad that they kinda screwed up the titan fight. It plays out quite differently in the manga. They switched some parts around and added a new part to the fight, which I'm sad that they did. The fight flows much worse than it does in the manga and the pacing - while not as bad as some of the other changes they've done - is not as good.
I was also very disappointed in how the power in the fight was portrayed at times. It didn't look kinetic at all, which is one of the stronger points of the manga; that it is incredibly kinetic.
As always: the anime is good, but the manga is way better.

Ooooh, cool find.
I think most things in Berserk except for the obviously unrealistic (like magic and stuff) are feasible in the real world. That's one of the many things I like about it.
