The only reason why I kept it to signatures was to try and ensure entries stuck to a certain size; size constraints do force people to be creative in how they are going to display their final product. Mainly I was trying to get people to use resources they don't often use (like you said, some people keep to the same tutorial, following the same steps over and over again - I'm guilty of this too). By making people use text, textures, C4Ds and a render (as opposed to just a flat background image), people were able to expand their knowledge of what can go in a signature (and how to do it). Anyway. Hopefully more people will give the C4D a go. The next five rounds may be a little more diverse. Perhaps consider these first five rounds as "introductory", which prompts people to have a go with the devices they'll have to use for the upcoming rounds ^^[/quote]
