unless you've changed the settings so transparency is disabled, it shouldn't have any background at all. It didn't do anything like that when I downloaded it and put it in GIMP.
i can't remember having changed them, but apperently i did. thanks!
I AM NOT AFFECTED BY ELOHELL. NOOBS AND TROLLS NEVER RUIN MY RANKED GAMES.

Here's my submission:
Although I was forced to stay within my comfort zone, I am pretty proud of this one :P
Here's what I've done with the stimulus:
then
I desaturated it, applied pink photo filter, then resized it, stretched it and put it on the bottom of the signature Linear dodge medium opacity.
EDIT: Oh **** something wrong with the border, let me fix this.
EDIT 2: OMG, I didn't notice the render's edges were not cut well until I saw how bad the stroke on it was :( Too late to change it :(
EDIT 3: I will try to fix the sharp render edges tomorrow hopefully.
EDIT 4: I think it looks better without a white stroke on the render now :P
EDIT 5: Is it okay if I use it as my signature even though it's a contest entry? I kinda like it lol

@Jai You misunderstood what I was saying, so let me try to restate it. It takes little skill to follow a step-by-step tutorial because it does not require you to think about what you're doing. The difference between what you did, which was attempting to duplicate something with very little idea about what I had done, and that...was exactly my point. You undoubtedly learned more just through experimentation.
Actually, I would say trying to copy you was a huge waste of time and I would have learned more from a tutorial. I got stuck trying to get the colours right, whereas if I had a tutorial and you had supplied the gradient or whatever, I would have got it done faster. In fact, the only thing I learnt from trying to copy you was your comment to Veng, "I smudged parts I didn't need". I have never thought of doing this, and I would never have guessed that's how you got rid of the unwanted star stock. So in fact, I learnt that from you providing the answer.
Llama: OP can also mean "Original Post".
Xeres: Ah, I can kinda see it now.
Yaya: That style brings back memories of Jeffy's sigs :D I have a suggestion about the render. Instead of an outer stroke or glow, try putting it on "centre", so it doesn't appear so pixlated.

I got rid of the stroke on the render, as the idea behind this style of signature is to highlight the fact that the render is beyond the borders of the sig :P

I sometimes forget that other people don't think about things the same way I do. I find it hard to think out of the box when I follow tutorials. I don't bother to do anything but word for word follow the directions without thinking. Whereas if I challenge myself to figure it out on my own, I end up working it out much better for myself...even if it takes me a long time and a lot of trial and error. Anyways, I'll see if I can write something that explains how I got the lighting and colors the way I did...because they're largely related.

It can also mean "original poster" when, "Wait til OP gets back".
You need to log in before commenting.
P.S what does OP stand for ("I'm going to add it to the OP")?
