playing Mage vs Mage, I have 1 hp left and one minion on the field (a Water Elemental), enemy has 14 HP and 2 minions on the field (also a Water Elemental + a Cult Master), enemy says "Well played" expecting to kill me in the next turn with hero power, I attack him to the face to get him down to 11 HP, use hero power to get him to 10 and play Pyroblast, then use my own "Well played" emote.

Also I guess I'll save up for another arena then, should be able to do better than 4-3 if I get a class I can play (I was only decent at Priest when I did arena before and didn't get it, now Mage/Warlock/Hunter/Warrior/Rogue should all be fine too :P)

I can teach you guys how to draft in the arena. I've played about 50 arenas. I taught c4 lasty how to draft warrior, and he's been spamming it to 9-10 wins over and over.
In my opinion, my 3 'win' classes are;
mage
warrior
paladin
For paladin, if you don't get truesilvers or blessing of kings, you will fail (happened to me a couple times, but I have gotten like 3 9 wins with paladin)
for mage, it's impossible to not get at least 7 wins. I had the ****tiest deck of ALL TIME last night and i went 7-3.
for warrior, you can fail if you just don't get the 2-3 charge or weapons, which can happen, but I've played warrior and gotten so many turn 5, 6, and 7 wins, you'd be astonished.
Shaman is ok, but they rely heavily on several cards that don't seem to come up much (flame elemental, lightning storm is super rare for me, and several others)
I stay away from druid (bad luck for me, no swipes ever, zzz)
I stay away from rogue and warlock as well (although warlock is painfully easy to draft for and you don't need a lot of special cards)
So yeah. If you want me to teach you how to draft the arena, yaya, just pm me and I can spec you over skype and tell you wat to do and give you some card tier lists.
If you get like, 3-6 wins in the arena, it was worth, you should get 50-100 gold and a pack, with a pack being 100 gold, it's worth or slightly profit. If you get 7 wins, you get 150-175 gold and a pack, basically a full refund and a pack. If you get 12 wins, you get like, 500 gold and 2 packs. Please tell me how arena isn't worth it

I wouldn't have to if you read my post properly :P

I didn't mean to say arena is never worth it because obviously it depends more on how well you do, but for me personally it was a waste of gold when I just started playing, also because I didn't have much experience with different classes yet :|

How much dust did you get? Because 100 dust equals a rare card. That's something you need to keep in mind.
I just did a 7 win run myself and got 160gold and a common card that wasn't gold for some reason..

Been trying Warrior lately, it's pretty strong!
I'm running a deck with a lot of battlecry: summon type of cards, and cheese it with Warsong Commander.
So far it's working pretty fine. Sitting on 240g atm, once level all classes to 10, I'll spam arena :P

^The Warsong Commander works best with minions that have high attack values.
It's a great minion in general though.
In my last 7win Warrior arena run(an hour ago) I got like 4 Shield Blocks and Captain Greenskin :D
I ended one of my matches at 45HP. Shield Block is a really good card for lategame(toss it if you get it in the opening hand).
I'm 3/0 in my current Warrior run. This time I got 2 Frothing Berserkers :D
Fiery War Axe is AMAZING early on, lol. Kills like 90% of all 2-3 cost drops, can be used instantly and TWICE.
There's no need to wait with arena. You can get ALL cards there, it's completely random, you don't have to own the cards to use them.

Getting gold is incredibly slow ._. And I don't even know if I should save it for arena pass when I'm ready, or card packs

They really gotta fix that...
Spend your gold on Arena. In there you can get more gold than you can get in normal play mode. Sometimes you get dust instead and even though that's not as nice, it can be used to craft a card that you want.
There's also the chance of getting golden cards if you do really well in arena(even if you don't want them for their shininess you can just disenchant them for a bunch of dust). I got a golden Explosive Trap for my Hunter when I got 8 wins in one run(RIP Release the Hounds). I also got more than 150gold for those 8 wins.
