As a FT manga reader, I'me excited for the upcoming events.
Have you seen the first episode btw ? They said the animation/graphics will look more like the manga, but I haven't even taken a glance at the manga. I liked old style better, but the new one is not that bad either. How much does the new style resemble the manga ?

Welp, I need another series to follow on a weekly basis now that Kill la Kill is done. Hrrm...
Same here. 4 episodes so far. I fear it's going to be a lot of filler though, like a real MMO xD
<tangent>
Some MMOs have really good lore; Dragon Nest does a very good job with it. The story is brilliant and engaging (as well as being different for every class, with each character seeing a glimpse of the whole picture), and just doing all the quests will let you hit the level cap without any boring grinding.

No thank you, it's generic and blatantly pandering. Go read something intelligent instead.

Nisekoi is trash.
idk why shaft is wasting money on that ****. lol. (tho, as expected of the otakus over there that can't get enough of the same generic and steriotypical ****, shaft still makes money)
the oneshot of the manga was so good, but the actual manga turned into generic harem trash. too hard to watch nor read more :/. sorry.
I wouldn't go that far. It's just mediocre. No need for a polarized opinion.

I really hope you're being sarcastic, but it I'm scared that you're not..
The moment a religious person unknowingly calls his own ways stupid: "And lol. I highly doubt you have magic powers. If you proved it I would believe you, but since you 'refuse to', I choose not to."

True tho.
I played the DN story with every character cept of Kali and Assasin. At first glance it seems like some normal MMO story: heroes that have to defeat dragons which are a threat to the human world.
But as you progress through the story it's getting ****ing great. DN also has a Manga (lol) Agate, The Black Knight, Garret etc. are all likeable characters. I wish the translation group would continue the DN manga :c

Episode 13, everything fine and cool, your typical shounen. Episode 14, suddenly everything goes bananas. Episode 15, slice of life romcom with incest. Honestly I have no idea what's coming next. Mecha? Horror? Toothbrush-scenes? Zombie apocalypse? Segfaults?

I'm watching it, but I'll hafta' pass. Nisekoi's fun, but not really all that good. It'd benefit a lot from cutting out all the experimental-cinematography stuff, in a romcom the weird angles and hyper-stylized sweeps aren't really doing it any favors. Also, I'm kinda' surprised that it's going past 13 episodes; it's already had to pull some contrived stunts to avoid making too much progress. And the ending was basically set in stone from episode 1, so it isn't like we don't know what has to happen.
Also, new season! Woo! I never even got around to writing down what I really liked last season, though, so I guess I'll list those briefly. In reverse-alphabetic order (for no real reason):
- Witch Craft Works - Semi-precious-stone-in-the-rough anime. It's exactly as stupid as it sounds, but it knows it. And that revels in its own stupidity. It was fun.
- Sekai Sei***u - Bouryaku no Zvezda - Also a stupid anime. This was a good season for stupid anime. That make no sense. It's very silly. I had fun.
- Seitokai Yakuindomo's second season - I enjoyed the first season, and this was more of that. So I was happy.
- Sakura Trick - By no means good, but I'm a sucker for romcoms. And lesbian romcom hits my kawaii buttons hard.
- Hozuki no Reitetsu - Not the best comedy, but the idea behind spending time talking about hellish bureaucratic problems in hell is deliciously absurd.
- Engaged to the Unidentified (Mikakunin de Shinkoukei) - Did I mention I like romcoms? No? I like romcoms. This is a decent anime and very cute romcom.
For this season I'm trying a whole lot of things. Like almost everything that's full-length. So far, Majin Bone, Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou, Seikoku no Dragonar, Kamigami no Asobi, Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei, and Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii look like they might be worth watching, especially if they're the kind of anime you're into. I'd say selector infected WIXOSS and Blade and Soul are easily skip-able; they just don't feel competent at what they're trying to be. I can go into more detail on how I feel about these things so far if people want, and I'll add to these lists as I watch more of this season's anime.
No good romcoms yet. This does not please me.
