I think people get where you were going with the text, but it's really unnoticeable - especially in the smaller format.
You can tell there's SOMETHING in the middle, but not what. So while it's very nice that you were trying to make it look transparent-ish, like glass, it'd be better to either somehow try and emphasize the text, a bit, remove it or make it a solid color (or gradient).

After hours and hours and hours of experimentation, following tutorials (most notably YayaFTW's tutorial here), tweaking, editing, and learning how to upload GIFs, I have made a banner that I am planning to use for my Diana guide ^_^
