Even if you are god with him teamfights are just SO difficult. When mundo was popular I think he was a lot better, but he struggles mightily against things that are popular now like shyvana, jax, and leblanc. His laning remains quite strong though. Nunu is weird. Hes really only good if the better junglers are banned and the other team has attack speed reliant champs. Against someone like lucian hes almost completely worthless later, and his overall peel is iffy. I'll add him in.[/quote]

[/quote] How do you think he fares in duels and 2v2s with supports? He has no reliable steroid, no escape, three of his abilities are skillshots and the 4th one depends on those skillshots landing. Would Thresh be the best support to take with him in most situations and solve most of his main problems (along with a bit more peel/lockdown from the rest of the team)? Thresh can lockdown someone with Death Sentence and The Box, allowing Varus to land his skillshots for free and chain CC someone for a long time if he has his ult, thus allowing him to land even more skillshots, get bruisers off him with Flay and in some cases, especially in lane (where he really needs an escape) provide an escape through Lantern.[/quote]
