I'm at episode 6 and so far it's really interesting. This is a "Good" tier anime so far. Characters are not cliché, and the plot so far is intriguing and crazy.
Will definitely watch it till the end.
Mawaru penguindrum was seriously the first anime that (truly) made my cry man the feels are real
It's probably one of the most unique anime out there and quite a great one at that. It might take a bit getting used to to the color scheme/character design/certain choices of animation/random penguins but it's so worth it
Also, I haven't watched Strike the Blood but I've seen it compared to Tokyo Ravens, claiming that they were released around the same time and that Tokyo Ravens is seemingly the better of the two yet strangely not so popular, so you might want to give that a watch.
(please note that I am overly biased towards tokyo ravens, but it does get monumentally better around the second half, also get used to CGI :'D)

Back from vacation. Finished watching Strike the blood.
I seriously deserve praise for not dropping this and watching it till the end. I mean it's not even good at what it's supposed to do.
Basically I expected a 7.2/10 MAL worth shounen with ecchi/fanservice elements and a bit of romance, instead I got a plotless shounen with misplaced cringy fanservice and a romance that could aswell just not even be there seeing how irrelevant it is to the anime.
Do not watch Strike the blood even if you're into shounen. Seriously you're better off with anime that know their field well like HS DxD or Rosario + Vampire.
I also started watching Mawaru Penguindrum.

Yeah Strike the Blood does literally nothing good,
also the 'No, Senpai! This is our fight!' line made me want to drop this every episode it occured.
Oh wait, it occured in every episode after ep2?
The romance is also quite ******ed, and obviously made to be harem.
The end of the anime pretty much says, that he had a daughter with both girls, most likely due to the vampire girl dying and then he goes for his childhood friend.
But that is what seems to be the future,
the current, the anime, is just blatant plotless, spineless and boring stuff to go through.
And I have to agree, tho I watched Rosario to Vampire when I was in my beginning stages of anime and did not think much of lame MC/harem/ecchi etc, I still like it compared to other animes with the same tag.
Especially, since the later parts of Rasrio to Vampire(manga) (after the 2 seasons oft he anime) take a huge turn in developement and style. Which made it more of a fighting-shounen with some romance and subtle ecchi.

I think I'ma going to have to stop talking about Tokyo Ghoul. I'm having a really strong reaction to it, which is preventing me from being reasonable or rational on the subject. Suffice to say that I have kinda' worked myself up into legitimately hating the anime for personal reasons, and as a direct result no one should pay any attention to my opinions about it.

Fair enough, shoulda just said it from the start xD
I would've, had I realized from the start. It really wasn't until my last post that I realized that my reaction was informed largely by personal ********. And even then not until a while after I'd actually posted. Turns out that introspection is kinda' hard.

It's just the same for me and SAO and S:G, can't reasonable argue with me about them lel.
About todays animes:
Zankyou no Terror Episode 5:
Is this really happening? English as spoken language in an anime with fine accent? Wut?
This lone fact already gives this series a huge plus!
About the rest, that I could not focus on due to me being flashed by above fact:
After 5 episodes we still don't know the motives of the 2 main protagonists, instead another one from their orphanage is introduced.
Guess they want to go the mystery way and reveal everything late to give it more impact.

This looks promising, kind of. Depends on how it'll turn out in the end.

Honestly I'd freak out as well if I knew that story. You know there's a guy that kills people IRL and you already met him and you know he's after you.
The Sinon part was a bit cringy I admit although her reaction makes for a quite hilarious setup. Wondering how it will end.
