Manga/Anime You Read/Watch

I was kinda thrown off by the ending for a moment because I expected the anime to prioritize mystery over the feels, but it turned out alright. It starts with a mixture of incest and stalking romance only to find its way to regular romance towards the end of the anime, which just felt wrong to me. I found the art to be pretty casual despite what people have been saying. Soundtrack was good in my opinion. Overall it was a fairly decent watch. Would not recommend to people who watch an anime for the action or the romance. But it won't hurt if you watch it when you have nothing else to watch. Next, I'm gonna be watching the long awaited [i]Hanamonogatari[/i]. I simply love the monogatari series so I have a feeling I'm gonna love it.[/quote]

But I guess I beat you to it, at least :P The story revolves around Suruga and takes place after Araragi and Senjougahara graduated. But you probably knew that already since that's all what mal gives you. Not trying to spoil much, it has to do with her arm and her mother, Tooe Gaen(!). Not included: everything that still bugs you from [i]Monogatari Series: Second Season[/i]. It's pretty much a standalone. I did not like it as much as I usually do, probably because Suruga just doesn't interest me as much as other characters. Still, [i]Hanamonogatari[/i] is a solid addition to the [i]Monogatari[/i] series and I would say it's worth your time if you watched the other parts. [spoiler=Also (spoiler)]Kaiki is alive! In the fight she was essentially connected to the pond so he just shot at the ground and the electricity passed on to ming hua. I think Mako's lightning bending is a lot weaker and much more easy to use casually than Azulas, which is why I suspect Ming Hua was only temporarily knocked out. While Azula's lightning had a windup time, it caused a tremendous amount of damage and killed Aang, while Mako's lighting charges pretty fast but it wasn't enough to kill or even burn Amon. As for the Katara vs Azula scene, if you noticed azula had to perform certain movements in order to lightning bend. Her hands were entirely restricted so I suppose that's why. Ice is a poor conductor of electricity though, so even if she did it wouldn't have been very effective... I think :'D [/spoiler][/quote]
