Champion Build Guide
Introduction
Hello everyone,
if you are looking for an off-meta build that works suprisingly well, you came to the right place!
This is my first guide that I share on Mobafire. I had so much fun playing this build that I felt forced to share my wisdom with anyone that loves to play Joseph J... Sett.

This is my first guide that I share on Mobafire. I had so much fun playing this build that I felt forced to share my wisdom with anyone that loves to play Joseph J... Sett.
About me
My name is Erdi, I am 24 years old and I am playing League since season one. I literally grew up playing League. I do stream every now and then on ttv as Erdonis1903.
I play league for fun and try out certain builds that seem off-meta, but work out insanely well.
If you wonder about my elo, I do have shocking news. I played league for SO long but never felt like playing rankeds. Let me explain. I never wanted to take a game that is supposed to make fun and turn it into sth stressful. So, here I am, with my years and years of experience and my challenger level of skill sharing my wisdom with you.

Gameplay
Start red. Clear your camps. If you see an opportunity to fight, do it, you are Sett after all. I would highly recommend to get your boots & Bami's Cinder before ganking intensely.
What else ? Well, feel free to find the balance between clearing camps and ganking.
Whenever you see an enemy walking up or pushing too hard, try to gank. But keep in mind, if your laner has some sort of cc, your ganks will be even more powerful. Good cc can make it easier for you to walk up. That's pretty much the hardest part of playing Sett. Enemies will try to keep their distance towards you. So gank smartly in the early stage of the game when you don't have your core items to close that gap.
As soon as you have your 3 core items, feel free to gank and pull the enemy away from his turret with your R. He can't outrun you, trust me.
Sett is one of the strongest engage champions in League. That doesn't mean that you should engage whenever it is possible. But if your team is around, if you see the right opportunity or if you walk up and seek the duel between you and someone else, use your hamon filled fists to beat 'em up. You are Sett after all !
So keep in mind:
- You can cast Haymaker first and Flash right after to reposition if needed.
- If you engage, don't use The Show Stopper right away. You are fast ! Close the gap, use Facebreaker (Stun if possible), get behind the enemy and then use The Show Stopper.
- In early game, you can use Knuckle Down for some extra movement speed towards the enemy. But keep in mind that you miss 2 punches if you use it early on.
- You are Sett. You fear no Pillar Men or anyone else. Don't play the Boss, be the Boss.
Why is this build working out in the current meta [11.10] ?
- Dead Man's Plate and Force of Nature don't provide you with as much tankyness as before, but these items provide you with a lot of movement speed and that's what you need as Sett.
- JUNGLE CHANGES ! So, since the jungle got updated A LOT this time, going jungling as Sett with this build makes a lot of more sense. You gain more xp to "comeback". This might help any jungler who falls behind, or any Sett that ganks often! So try it, don't hold back and try to gank at any given time. A risky playstyle gets rewarded and this build is made to take risks !
-JUNGLE CAMPS ! The jungle camps got buffed in terms of hp, but they deal less dmg. Clearing the jungle as Sett is pretty easy now since Bami's Cinder helps you out a lot in terms of sustain and damage vs the new camps.
- SMITE CHANGES ! Sett can cc, shield himself and reset his aa in the jungle. Even if smite doesn't give you as much hp back, it doesn't matter. Your sustain as Sett will help you trough every jungle phase.
- MORE JUNGLERS ! Since the camps deal less damage, there will be plenty of champs in the jungle. Anyone who plays squishy champs can be crushed by you. Running away ain't an option for the enemy either since you are super fast. So try to counter the enemy jungler & contest the rift scuttler (but keep an eye on the laners). Especially early on, you should be able to force fights and invade (while watching the lanes. Be careful & don't get into avoidable 2 v 1 situations).
So keep in mind: You are Sett, you do have the Joestar mark on you. You own the jungle, so taking risks will reward you as long as you play it clever.

Conclusion
Since this is my first guide, I kept it pretty short as you can see.
Sett has great potential and synergizes well with any team.
I had a lot of fun with this build & had a great time playing it.
So I hope you enjoy it aswell & I wish you the best of luck !
