Why do I play Moonstone with Zyra?
I love Zyra, I have been playing her since S9. I think she is an amazing support, dealing so much damage and can easily zone enemies.
The standard build for her in S11 is Liandry, Demonic - which is a great build with high DPS.
However I have really enjoyed playing Moonstone with her. I have found that I am still doing the most amount of damage in the team whilst being able to heal allies also. It's also a very good item for the support role.
So for me, this build is like a hybrid Zyra.
For early game it is important to get Sorcerers boots ASAP - this will enable you to have maximum DPS for laning phase. Then aim to pick up a Moonstone!
When playing throughout, focus on not dying and putting plants down and activating them during team fights (W and Q) - this will continuously heal your allies. When running way from enemies again activate plants. Positioning is very important as you do want to be in the fight (you will do lots of damage!) but also you don't want to die, as you want to do healing too.
This is why I put many points into W. So you can keep on spawning many plants.
It's a really fun build! I am only a Silver player, so maybe this isn't the best to climb with - but I really enjoy playing it. Hope you will too!
