Champion Build Guide
Why Dark Harvest?
I find Dark Harvest a much more efficient rune for Xerath then comet. Its much better to extra damage when they are below 50%hp then having comet hit (if it does hit with all movement speed in the game now) whenever you start poking them and then they just heal it back. Dark Harvest scales great with Xerath. Always look to stack the rune, even if you use your R to grab a stack its great. Sure I get games were DH would do 2000 damage. Where as comet would do 3000-4000 damage but how much of that damage was done when it was ideal and not just healed back from their team.
Runes
Dark harvest for the scalable damage. Taste of Blood will help you stay in lane longer, much better then cheap shot. You will do so much damage with this build it isnt needed, and its much better to help out your early game. Eyeball will help you get more damage before you grab Deathcap and horizon. Ingenious Hunter will lower the CD of Night Harvester's Damage boost and Moment Speed Boost.
Absolute Focus scales great with Xerath and this build. Once Xerath his below 70%hp he is very much killable,so stay healthy. Scorch is much better with its recent buff. It will help drop enemies hp to get stacks for dark harvest.
