Champion Build Guide

[12.4] Renata Full Guide

By SnakePiece
Introduction
This is a guide for Renata, after playing for a while with bots in different configs.
I highly recommend you to read notes for each part of guide.
This guide is made for situations, when you are playing against AD/AP ADC+Tanky Support and your ADC is highly compatible with you(read the Synergy section).
Laning details
When enemy line is Ad/AP(ADC)+Tank(Sup) and your ADC is highly compatible with you, then you should definitely us[/b]e the recommended rune and item setup.
If you are standing with less compatible champ, then use the second rest of runes and also vary the item set, according to situation.
Tactic details
If your ADC compatibility is high, then you can play aggressively(but don't fight under enemy tower).
If compatibility is not high enough, then you should play more carefully, keeping enemies on your half of line, also don't be too aggressive while last-hitting the minions.
Skill details(base+attack)
While u don't havee an ULT, use combo W+Q+E: W your teammate before the actual fight, then Q the enemy, you want to kill, making him hit into his teammate(the best lineup is when teammate, you'll hit the wanted eneemy into, is standing just in front of him), then E on your enemies to slow then down for easier killing, if you aren't sure that your enemy won't run away, then use Ignite on him.
CRITICAL POINT!!!!
Do not forget about to W your teammate to make him faster and more dangerous in fight, this may also savee his life, if the plan goes wrong, because he will resurrect with 35% HP and will be able to run or to win the fight.
After getting an ult and your first slot(on any of you: you or the ADC), the skill order in the fight looks like this: R+W+Q+E, if the enemies are low HP, or W+R and Q+E if the enemy(ies) survived during an ULT; using Q and E is the same as without ult - goal is to prevent enemy(ies) from running.
Skill details(survival)
If the fight goes totally wrong, then W the lowest teammate(or your ADC, if it's still the lane phase), let him fight and after he is resurrected, slow the enemies down by using E and stun them by using Q.
Using ULT
Optimal situation for using your ULT, is when you have 2 or more enemies close to each other.
You may also use it on one enemy, but you have to be 100% sure, that you or your teammate will kill him, because enemy(ies) affected by an ULT get(s) 100% more attack speed.
The most uneffective(but sometimes necessary measure) is using ULT to ecsape; remember, it's most effective only if you have more than one enemy(or there are any mobs around), chasing you.
Interchangealbe items
Depending on enemies, you play against, and your teammate compatibility, you choose the needed item set.

You should buy Redemption(as last item) in cases, when your team is dominating and there is no doubt you win.

You should use Zhonya(as last item) in cases, when your teeam is dominating, but you have some doubts about winning the game(ex: Irelia with 2 or more items or Gwen with the same set).
In these cases buying Zhonya is the right choice, because you will be invincible, during an ULT(or runaway), so you will not feed an enemy, or(in case of runaway) you team will have time to help you escape.

You should buy Zhonya as the second item, if you game goes completely wrong, because you'll be invulnerable, during an ULT, so your team doesn't have to worry about you, they'll be able to get free kills and push the lane, while you(who don't have enough resists and HP) will stand behind them and support them ot just TP to the base.
Interchangealbe boots
Depending on situation, you might want to use other boots, rather then using recommended by me in this guide.

You are free to change boots to any you want, but best(after Ionian) are any kind of protective boots(DO NOT USE ANY MOBILITY OR ATTACKING BOOTS!!!!!!!)
Why not Scorch
Skills cooldowns are too large to use scorch, what makes it useless, while gathering storm gives you AD/AP, which in this case is more useful
Conclusion
This guide is universal, but not perfect and I'll improve it later, after playing more on Renata, I'll also describe more strategies, more situations and make in-depth guide from this full guide, so stay tuned and write your comments.
