With Radiant Virtue gone in s14, is there a different build you have for Tankmira, or is it not viable without that item?

Hey there! I personally havnt tried the build with Opp/Zoomies as the first item BUT Have been going Samira building Collector into Hubris/voltiac, IE, BT/LDR Do you have any thoughts on this? I find that hubris is amazing for snowballing and collector seems to be the best for a first item so far.

Great Build! I loved trying this out on Samira, she is so much fun to play. Only thing I would change/add would be Fizz being a Extreme Threat. His ult is darn near impossible to block and with that stun that comes along its almost a guaranteed death, Removes you from ever team fight, and dodges every dive attempt on him. PS: (I hate Fizz and Patheon teams their momma didnt raise em right.)

Nice guide. One of the best for Samira in my opinion. I have one question: is still possible to gain stacks of with the second taunt (coin flip; Ctrl+2)? I found some guide whoused it in some combo, but in never procs for me.

I just tried BT first and it felt really good even better then shield bow.
Don't know what it was. I was playing against Jhin, Sona lane and I kept trading with them with no problem.

BT technically has potential as a first item on champions like Draven but for Samira its a bit iffy. Your base damage is really low so pure lifesteal is *okay* at best, the BT shield got its lifesteal nerfed and has a better scaling shield but it doesn't out-value Shieldbow's till level 10, and finally, Shieldbow is just a massive purchase overall.
It has a better build path, provides wave clear, gives AS, and its shield is amazing to pair with your Last Stand. I think BT is a good item but I'm not sure its worth sacrificing your Shieldbow for (that being said, I've been experimenting going Galeforce vs Jhin atm in all of my games but that's for a future discussion).

That being said, if you really do enjoy BT first more, then stick to it! I do have a few recommendations however since you'll have to change up your early playstyle. I'd recommend taking Alacrity (the lack of AS for so long is going to be miserable but you can also take double adaptive shards with Alacrity for more damage too). If you're not significantly outranged, take Overheal as well and just stack that Shield before any and every fight. It's benefit over Shieldbow is the fact that there isn't a 90 second CD on it so abuse that! Hope this helps!

Shieldbow = 3400g, 20%AS, 50AD (technically 65 when Passive pops), 7% Life Steal, 20% Crit, Waveclear, Good Build Path, Pre-lvl 10 250hp Shield |
BT = 3200g, 55AD, 15% Life Steal, 20% Crit, Pre-lvl 10 180hp Shield

What is your opinion on building eclise on Samira. So u would have a build like this:
Eclipse => boots => IE => BT and then what ever needed.

In theory this would be an amazing hyperscaling build but the issue is that you'll die far too quickly

hello!

I really like your guide and have learned quite a bit, however I am still kind of confused.
With how the guide is organized, it seems like you build boots after mythic, however I see a lot of samara's build it right after noon quiver, do you have any recommendations on the topic?

Also what matchups should you take what runes on. Like against Tristana I would assume you go resolve and exhaust, but what about against a long rage poke (Kog'maw, Caitlyn), or a burst that's better then you (Twicth,Nilah)

I personally enjoy rushing Shieldbow as soon as possible unless I'm facing someone like Caitlyn or Lucian. That being said, Shieldbow spike is massive so most of the time I'll just rush the item or I'll sit on regular boots and finish them after Shieldbow.
For a lot of matchups it mostly depends on the enemy support on what Runes you should take. If its Caitlyn + Lux, I'll often go Second Wind or Biscuits depending on if I can kill them lvl 3 or not. If its Caitlyn + Naut, I'm fine going light sustain with 3 pot + long sword.
It really all depends on you and how you want to play the lane. I give a general idea of how the runes should be used but there is no 100% answer.

Hello!

Your guide is one of the many I scooted across, and one of the few that did catch my attention. I like the banners and your color theme. On top of that, you convey the basic information required to pilot . However, at the same time I felt a bit sad because there are some things in the formatting that could be much better. Thus, some unsolicited advice: take it or leave it, your choice ;)

Uncenter centered text: This is perhaps the most annoying thing one could ever encounter in a guide. Paragraphs and full sentences should never, ever be centered. It makes it so much harder to read what is written.
Recolor templates: Another (personal) annoyance. In isolation, I like the colors of (some of) the templates. (that's why I chose those, duh). However, considering the fact that your guide is on Samira, with a orange-red/grey theme, these blue colors are the most random things on this planet. Why wouldn't you recolor them to fit your guide's theme? It'd look totally awesome! proof in spoiler below
Unbold bolded text: Why is it there anyway? Is the normal text not good enough? :( It would look so much more consistent if didn't use bolded text in the runes and gameplay sections.
Recoloring hyperlinks: Now this one is less 'urgent' than the others, but perhaps something to think about. The blue hyperlinks in the guide (e.g. Samira) are also a lil 'out of theme'. If you have too much time, and not feeling like trying to do 'hard' stuff: you can recolor every single one of these links by adding some color to them. (Either manually or by using find & replace in a clever way). The hard part would be picking the color, but besides that I think it could help giving the guide even more of a Samira feel.

Now finally, if you've done all those things and still wondering: you could think of making the code of some sections more 'in line' with others. For example item section looks a little off compared to the others, because the do not really contain the grey background/border thingies that are present in others.

I hope (some of) this helped you a bit, lemme know if you have questions, doubts or anything else. I must say I really appreciate the effort you put in, as this can be somewhat rare for higher ranked players/streamers :D

Thank you for this! I'm glad you enjoyed the guide even through a few of the visual issues. This was my first attempt at learning basic HTML as well as using reference guides to improve on my previous one (before it was very informational but it was just walls upon walls of text). I'm currently focused on improving my new Samira Bible Matchup Sheet which goes hand in hand with this guide. I appreciate it! Rell is honestly one of the best pairings for Samira, especially once you get the practice in. Nothing is more consistent than having Samira E in so Rell can stun then she can easily follow up in lane! Thanks again! <3

Thanks for the comment! I'm glad you found it helpful. Samira has a TON of niche combos for VERY specific situations but most of them aren't worth wasting the brain power over. I'm glad you were able to find combos that you can use in every game <3

Hey! Honestly, if you're looking to play Samira anywhere besides ADC, Top would be better. Mid lane she just gets destroyed by a ton of assassins and control mages. That being said, with enough time and focus, I don't doubt you could be at least SOMEWHAT successful with her mid. Hope this helped!
