Warwick has a close range engage with Q+E. Hitting a successful E procs aftershock which allows warwick to have further tankiness and bullet sponge further. If your adc/apc has a quick time to kill, then warwick can easily out sustain the enemies with a successful engage. Gaining more gold makes Warwick tankier, however don't overestimate how weak your Q's healing is.
Suppression from your R is very strong for getting picks and can set up further cc should your adc have any.
