Introduction

HI !

My name is Staronabilos, I began playing league at the beginning of Season 8 and I'm currently in Silver. I am level 7 Heimerdinger player and I'll try to teach you the champ with my experience in my first guide ! ( Sorry for my bad English btw )

This is a MID Heimerdinger guide but it also works for TOP.
As this is my first guide, I know that it is probably not complete or well designed, but I will try to update it asap because Heimer is probably the best champion in League of Legends.

Runes & How to kill

All we want with Heimerdinger is high damage, and that's why Electrocute is a good idea : try to engage with your CH-2 ELECTRON STORM GRENADE (E) or even UPGRADED E, then follow with your HEXTECH MICRO-ROCKETS (W), an auto-attack and your ennemy will be in a bad mood because of the Electrocute.

For secondary runes, I prefer taking Manaflow Band and Transcendence because it allows me to poke a lot and not letting my enemy farming. But you can also go for Ultimate focus if your enemy can't poke you.

If you are in a 1v2 situation, you should be happy because enemies will try to engage you, and if someone is on you and your towers, just stun him with your E and he will be dead, you can also put your UPGRADED Q to be sure that you take the double kill even if you are dead.

The funny thing with Heimerdinger is that most people don't expect your damage and engage you, which is good for you.

Team Work

In a teamfight, use your UPGRADED E to stun at least 2 ennemies and if possible, put some towers quickly and keep on going with your W. This is a good way to engage as your UPGRADED E is hard to dodge.

You can also use your UPGRADED Q or W if you are confident about landing your stun.

Farming

It is pretty easy to push lanes with your towers, but you better try to last-hit the creeps by yourself with auto-attacks to secure it.
