PERMA-BAN. IF YOU DON'T, YOU'LL LEARN WHAT REAL PAIN IS. IF THERE WAS A LEVEL 6 THREAT, HE'D BE JUST THAT.
Galio
I'm pretty sure that's not a surprise, since Galio is the superior mage counter. Try your best to avoid trading with him, because all of his abilities can easily counter your shroud. Take TP, help your team and try to avoid him as much as possible.
LeBlanc
Oh god, where do I start. If the player knows Akali well, it'll be a hard lane for you. LeBlanc can counter your E well and can use it to her advantage by luring you into her turret. Her E also counters your shroud by giving vision. Other than that, LeBlanc's burst is so instant and you might not have enough time to react. Take TP, call your jungler for help because she's one of the best counters to Akali.
Sylas
Normally, Akali doesn't really struggle against Sylas. But a Sylas with an Akali ult is DANGEROUS. Try your best to kill him before he hits lvl 6, because you aren't likely to win a match-up against him after that. This is also a threat against your team since he can one-shot with your ult. This might be the ONLY instance you wanna take Conqueror, but I still don't recommend it.
Katarina
Katarina is just too fast. If you don't react fast enough, you're in for a world of hurt. But if you play calm, attack with your shroud and rush Stormsurge, I can say that this lane will be pretty even. Still a threat though.
Zed
Another LeBlanc case, but this is actually easier for you. Zed needs to get close to the enemy in order to use his ult efficiently. If you can dodge his shurikens and can successfully land your E on him to follow, I'd say this is also an even lane. For someone who can't react fast enough, you're still gonna struggle, a little.
Mel
Yeah, party pooper. Nothing else to say, I hate this champ. Play safely and attack once you waste her W to delete her I guess.
Vex
Normally, this is an easy match-up. But her empowered W makes things hard. This yordle prevents you from landing your full combo, just by pressing a single button. It doesn't help that she also has some long range abilities. You can use your shroud to scare her and waste her passive. Make her waste that ability, then one-shot her with Ignite. Probably the least effective counter among all.
Yasuo
People say that Akali struggles against Yasuo, but I honestly disagree. She can poke Yasuo from a safe distance and you can play aggressively. Once he uses his W, he's vulnerable. Just avoid his empowered Q and you have an easy lane after level 6.
Yone
Same thing as Yasuo, but he's a little harder. He can do trades with his E, so always to use your E ability first. Just make sure you can dodge his Q and ult, and you should be fine.
Annie
She can make you struggle a little because of her passive, so rush Stormsurge first to make sure you can one-shot her. Try your best to waste her passive in the lane.
Orianna
Akali is pretty good against poke mages after level 6, but she can struggle before that. Play safe until level 6, then start playing aggresively to delete her from the game.
Ahri
Akali is pretty good against poke mages after level 6, but she can struggle before that. Play safe until level 6, then start playing aggresively to delete her from the game.

Ziggs

Irelia
Irelia is usually a strong 1v1 duelist. But you can avoid her during trades by using your shroud effectively. Never engage without your shroud. Almost zero struggle after level 6.
Corki
Easy lane. He can easily get one-shot, no sustain whatsoever. Play aggressively, rush Stormsurge.
Talon
Another easy lane. He must get close to you in order to deal consistent damage. Luckily, you have your E and shroud. Use them and delete him from existence.
Fizz
If your evemy picks Fizz, just pick Akali. There's no way he can win this lane. Play aggressively after level 3 and teach your enemy what real pain is.
Smolder
You thought picking a long-range stacking adc for mid is a good idea? GUESS WHAT, F**K YOU! No sustain, no dash, easy win with your shroud.
Pantheon
Pantheon and Akali are the perfect duo when it comes to laning. Once Pantheon lands his W, GG. Kill secured. They can both deal consistent damage and chase the enemy down.
Amumu
Amumu is an amazing jungler for Akali. He can gank easily, tank the turret and cc the enemy. Amumu love.
Shen
If your top laner picks Shen, give them some love. Shen is compatible with every single champ in the game, especially with Akali.
Alistar
Alistar could be the best support pick for Akali. Heavy tank, hard sustain and can chase enemies down. Unkillable helper.
