Introduction
Hi and welcome to TheEbonyBlade915's First Ever Master Yi Guide!!!
My name is Jeffrey Gladius Saber, and I go by the SID TheEbonyBlade915, playing at LOL-PH. Okay, then, enough with the fancy, and let's get LoLing.
Ever felt like something's missing when you're using Master Yi?
Ever felt the need to deal even more tons of damage?
Ever wanted to feel the feeling that Morello, Phreak, and all the others at Riot wanted to feel?
Fear not, for I'm here to satisfy that craving!!!
BEHOLD! WHEN INFINITY EDGE ISN'T ENOUGH...
Imagine this:
Your Yi, having a total attack of 300++.
You have an Infinity Edge in your inventory.
Because of the restraints of your IE and your Lethality Mastery, you can only deal more or less than 780 Crit Dmg, minus the armor penetration you have.
What if we added some more juice to Yi's jumping slashes?
Add 25% more Crit Dmg from these runes, plus your Lethality, plus your fixed 250% from your IE.
You get a whopping 285% Crit Dmg total. Still not enough? Your innate armor penetration, thanks to your masteries, can add a little more spice to your crits, and thus making a 3x crit strike possible.
But that's not all - Your Ignite and Exhaust Spells can kick it further up a notch. Exhaust reduces your opponent's resistance, and casting Ignite can add up to your total damage.
Imagine being hit by a Full-Critical Double Strike.

The items I have showcased here, with their respective purchase orders, delivers the needs of the crit-hungry Yi in you. Variations are self-explanatory according to who are you up against. As for the boot upgrades, You can either suit yourself by buying Furor or Alacrity. Still not enough for you? Sell the boots and get a Trinity Force instead for some real tons of damage. Lifesteal is NOT prioritized, for your priority is to deal excruciatingly high amounts of damage to any enemy champion you might come across, much like an Assassin-type Champion does. Two GPS (Gold-Per-Second) items are always included for the prevention of champion locking. Your Philosopher's Stone can either be sold or upgraded to Eleisa's Miracle, only when your Yi is at or below Lv15.
Early in the game, you can score an instant kill when your enemy champion's HP is well below 60% by attacking with your Double Strike readied, Wuju Style Activated, and when you have cast Ignite, Exhaust, and Alpha Strike on that champion SIMULTANEOUSLY. Try it out for yourself, and you might regret having killed that champion.
A Master Yi with this kind of build, with the right CC and support from an ally, CAN EASILY DESTROY ANY CHAMPION who opposes them in the top or bottom lane. VERY LETHAL when your team is planning a JUNGLE INVASION. If not stopped, A Master Yi with this build CAN DO DEVASTATING EFFECTS on the enemy team. Expect a minimum number of Doubles and Triples to five (5), and expect frequent Quadras and Pentas.
However, if paired with the wrong champion, 3x Crit Yi Shows weakness while battling. Also, when your Exhaust is in cooldown, 3x Crit Damage Yi is squishy at early game. If you get killed more than five (5) times, Your GPS (Gold-Per-Second) Items might not be enough anymore to sustain your off-farm needs.

No matter how much damage you deal, you can't perform well if you have more rage than your champion (as in the case of Tryndamere, but heck, this is a Master Yi guide!). But keep in mind, Power is the key to the Early game. Overpowering your opponents can ensure victory.
And there's no sweeter way to overpower than to beef up your Critstrikes!
Thanks for wasting your time reading my first guide here in MobaFire.
I hope you like it, but if you don't, well, I hope you do, too.
