Bard will have to play around your minions to be efective on his skills leaving him open to be caught by your Q, you can also get him when he trys to use his portal. Since he needs to colect meeps he will be out of lane for quite some time leaving the adc in a 2 vs 1
Alistar
Alistar like leona will have to get close to you in order make anything, if you have a good coordenation you can pick him up on his engages, you can risk a bit more and use your Carry as a bait if near your tower and when engaged hook and flail to the tower to max the damage given to them, focous them with your autos bettwen fights to make sure you can lower their hp
Leona

Malzahar
Malzahar passive as well as is silence can be really anoying, without risking 2 much try to hit him once every 30 seconds to make sure he doesnt get that shield back in order to max your potential.
Janna
Janna's tornado is really stong vs thresh since it will stop your Q's recast, she can also destroy all your engages if her ultimate is up since it will just get you away, she can use this and bait you, letting you get her near her tower so you can dash to her and then she ulti's you undertower.
Shen
Shen is a serious problem since he can stop auto atacks as well as he can taunt, getting him on the other side will be a problem since if you focous him he will stop your adc's auto atacks on him and if you focous his adc he will taunt your adc and block his autos
Annie
Annie wont have much room to fight you before level 6, she is a champ with low mobility that in order to stun needs to get fairly close to you after she stacked(something that, if she doesnt go with relic to last hit the minions with her Q will cost quite a bit of mana), her Q range is almost half of your's so you will have the advantage on her.
Be carefull after level 6 since even if you get to grab her she will be able to release tibbers on either you or your adc and deal some real damage.
Morgana
Morgana's shied can be quite anoying its true but since it is a bit predictable(she will shield the one who is getting the most focous by you) you can turn the game around, morgana's Q will probably be your worst nightmare vs her since she can stop you from reactivating your Q to dash at the same time she deals an insane amount of damage with it.
If she ults and gets both you and your adc on hit try to either Q her so your adc can run or try to get a target out of her ult range so you can run and leave the lantern to your adc so he can follow you and get to safty.
Lux
Lux's early will cost her a lot of mana but she will be doing a lot more damage to you if she can hit you than the reverse, she can also burst your adc down fairly easy leaving you in a bad position, try to save your lantern so you can save your adc if she goes for a full combo on him, if your adc can react fast he will pick the lantern before she can release her ultimate.
Brand
Brand poke will be insane, be carefull whis his aoe explosion passive since if you lantern your adc to save him from something and one of you has his explosion ready to go off both of you will take a lot of damage, if you can avoid his Q after he used any other hability before level 6 engage him since he wont have anything to stop you from killing him since he doesnt have that much mobility
Poppy
Poppy will probably be one of your worst nightmares, she can denny your Q's recast at the same time she can use it to bait you and stun you on a wall, do not engage a poppy/vayne combo if they both have the stuns ups even if you are near your tower since poppy will be able to tank it.
Blitzcrank
Blitzcrank, your adc's worst nightmare.
I dont know a single adc that likes to play vs a blitzcrank since it fairly reduces their positioning options, if you are a good dodger try to bait his, Q out so he cant do a full combo on your adc, if he trys to get you and he misses he will be limitated to melee combat, since you are on a cooldown reduction state it will be the right time to engage, he will try to use W to get a speed boost and run but after a coople of seconds it will slow im down leaving him open to get caught by your Q once again.
Soraka
Soraka's silence will be your worst problem(apart of her ultimate), if you can avoid it then go all in on her, she is the most important target on early regardless of her adc, you want to keep her either away from lane or dead so she cant get gold or exp, allways keep an eye out for her ultimate because she can use it to turn the table around on an all in engage.
Tahm Kench
Tahm is once again, like soraka, the one you want to keep out of lane, he can eat the enemy adc to release him from your Q making your job a litle harder.
Rakan
Even tho rakan is a strong champion as well as it is ranged his engages are predictable, play near your tower and if he engages flail him so he cant knock up and then use your Q to punish him for trying to do something, the lane is yours and you rule on it.
Zyra
Zyra's massive cc and damage output is extremely anoying, she can root you from miles away and she can use the plants to avoid your Q's, clear the plants before you engage against her since the dmg you will take from the plants can turn the fight to her side.
Zilean
Zil is by far the worst you can find on this matchup, since your Q reduced your mobility he can take advantage on that to stun you with his dooble bombs and get a good portion of your HP away, if you send down someone with his up save your Q for their "respawn", it doesnt take much practice to send your Q at the right time to catch someone who just respawned with his ultimate or a guardian angel
Thresh is by far my fav champ, not only that he is also a really complete champ in overall, ill post the build/masteries/runes that i have been using and have been working out well for the 45% CDR

as for runes you do have a lot of options, since thresh passive already gives him ap and armor nothing more than the flat seals with armor will work fine, same for the ap, so instead of ap marks/quintessences you can get mr and ad runes

You wont have the same tank potential in early as you would had if you went with either colossus or stoneborn but you will have a really anoying late for the enemy team to face, you will easly be able to keep anyone under your tower since as soon as you hit your Q they will be in a cc loop that they wont be able to avoid without a flash.
