Introduction

Hi, this is Scooby207; a Tryndamere 1 trick since Seaseon 4. ADCs right now aren't as strong and invincible as they were now in season 7 with the nerfs to Ardent Censer and the strong enchanter support Janna going down Tryndamere is in a good spot for low ELO. This means if you're in Gold or Silver where tanks cannot peel for their ADC's properly you're in luck.

Runes

For the Runes I have chosen:

PRIMARY:

Press the Attack

: Here we have 2 options; Press The Attack and Lethal Tempo. I prefer Press the Attack over

Lethal Tempo

as you won't actually be able to stick to the ADC for that long, instead you're going to get a couple of autos off and hopefully kill them this is why I prefer the

Press the Attack

.

Triumph

is the only option here,

Overheal

is useless because of our Q cooldowns being so long and us not having THAT much healing in lane which makes it useless when laning.

Presence of Mind

is useless as we don't use mana; but most importantly

Triumph

synergises well with our low health playstyle as a Tryndamere.

3rd Slot: The "Alacrity" attack speed one alongside the "Tenacity" one are to be considered when inside the lobby, based on the enemy team composition. If there is a lot of CC on their team (not including Supression) take Tenacity as it will most likely help your roams as well as your ability to effectively shut down high priority targets.

Last Stand

synergises with the Tryndamere ult and playstyle which gives you a whopping 12% extra damage from it allowing you to have lots of attack speed, crit and AD plus giving bonus damage due to this rune.

Cut Down

is not good considering the fact that we're trying to kill the ADCs here; we can deal with and 1v1 the tanks even on low health after their APC and ADCs are down due to our lifesteal and armorshred and percent health damage that we build. Finally we have

Coup de Grace

which is "good" but not good enough we want to have our damage the moment we go in and us being below 60% is more likely than them being below 40% and it also gives 2% less bonus damage which is why I'm taking

Last Stand

in this slot.

2nd Tree: Resolve

In this tree we get

Iron Skin/ Mirror Shell

based on matchup. Against AD laners

Iron Skin

and against ap laners

Mirror Shell

. We need these defensive stats as in Season 8 we no longer have the choice to put MR/AR in our runes and we need those early resistances.

Revitalize

is a must have as it synergises well with our Q, Ult and low health playstyle.
