Hi. This is my first guide on mobafire, so i'm not too familiar with the system :)

I am a pyke main with about 200k points over a few accounts. All points come from top or mid lane pyke. Pyke nerfs hit him hard in the solo lanes, but you can definitely still pull it off.

Pyke can be quite hard to lane with in the mid lane. The recent pyke nerfs that got rid of all his waveclear hit him hard. Though, the new buffs gives him more gold from ultimate, so i personally think it evens it out a bit due to him being less reliant on farming. Just play safe until lvl 6. Just safe farm till you have your tiamat, and then you can begin to all in. Pyke can burst down most squishy mages at lvl 6, so try to pick up and early kill.

Pyke doesn't have too many combos, but i'll try to come with a few.

If you stand about half (a little further away) the range of your max Q, you can Q max them towards you and then E away. This will result in them getting stunned while you are in no fear of being too close and dying. This is good to get an easy pick for your team.

2nd combo is E + R, where you first use E, and then r behind someone. Even if your R doesn't execute some1, you still "jump" to the middle of the X, so you can land the stun without much counterplay. This is probably pykes most difficult combo.
