[9.7 - TOP] Play Hecarim like KR Challenger | Play-to-win| C

By Moo Hyup Ji
PROS&CONS
PROS:

Extremely mobile
High DPS
Huge power spike after Trinity Force completion
Tons of mid game damage
Good engage and disengage with Onslaught of Shadows and Devastating Charge
Hard to chase, hard to escape
Lots of wave clear

CONS:

Weak early game, loses to ranged champs and lane bullies like Riven
Hard to catchup when behind
Mana hungry early game
Enemies can capitalize if you use Devastating Charge to farm or deal extra damage to towers
SPELLS
Ignite: Unlike most champions, Hecarim does not rely on Flash or Ghost to get away. This way, he can take Ignite as well for an edge in lane without you falling behind in the late game. Although some might say Ghost is better, you are fast enough and it only provides a slim AD boost. 8/10 PRIORITY

Teleport: An essential spell to all top laners, especially for our magical pony here. Teleport gives Hecarim the opportunity to roam to mid lane and come back top without missing CS or falling behind. Also, you can Teleport bot lane for an easy gank with

GUYS THIS HECARIM IS OP RIGHT NOW | ANYONE CAN PLAY TO WIN | STRONGEST LVL 3,4,5

The win-rate of Hecarim in Top lane is off the chart right now.
Let’s see why is so OP.
-
Hecarim is currently the most broken champion in Top lane.
The user featured in this video is currently rank 81 in KR server.

The reason why it’s OP is because of the Conqueror and the recent buff for Hec. 10% additional damage per Q stack.
When Hec hits Q, he gets a stack, up to 2 stacks. With single stack, he gets 1 second less CD, and when he has 2 stacks, he gets 2 seconds cooldown AND extra 20% damage.

W skill is area damage, heal by 30% of the damage the nearby enemy took(there’s a limit in healing with minions). E skill is movement speed buff and can push the enemy in the next attack. Passive is additional AD increase scaled from the movement speed.

R is fast dashing a certain distance and fears whoever was hit by it. It’s fairly wide and long skill.

Let’s see how we can solo-kill now

Let’s learn from these know-how and plays to see how we can use this OP champion during our ranked games. This video is all based on Challenger elo.

During the fights, Hec can abuse short Q CD and E + W to get 3 stacks in Conqueror, and Q + AA following shortly will make it 5 stacks.

If he fights continuously after 5 stacks, the buffed Q damage will be converted to a TRUE damage with HUGE healing. Therefore, the sustain is massive during any types of fights.

Plus, with the Corrupting Potion, the Biscuit rune, and the Time Warp tonic rune will help that sustain with the instant health recover.

Don’t forget to take the last stand rune. When the health is below 60%, he will do extra damage. When he is below 30%, there’s extra 11% damage increase. This will also help the sustain during fights.

In conclusion, 1. Hec is so easy to max the stacks of Conqueror 2. Keeping the 5 stacks 3. Q CD is 2 seconds with 20% damage buff 3. With the last stand rune activated under 60% max health, sustain with the potions/buscuits 4. All the damages will partially convert to True damage and healing.

5. After level 2 of the Q skill, there’s a base damage increase with extra % damage. So level 4, and 5 is the strongest 1v1 timing in laning phase.

Thank to Time Warp tonic rune, Corrupting potions and biscuits will be effective right away for the half of the healing. Take corrupting potion during the fights, and take biscuits when you have almost no health to sustain longer.

Q+W then dash with E. You already have 3 stacks now.

Keep the Q stacks, while you stack the Conqueror.

If there’s is item difference with the enemy, the lane is over.

Use W and take the potions(with the rune) for massive healing, and deal true damage with the last stand backing it up.

Pull the lane until lvl 3. Maintain the Q + Conq stacks, when you hit lvl 4, go in and kill.

3 stacks in Conq + Last stand activated.

Then get full stacks with Q+W. Massive healing with W + Biscuit + Conq. and win the fight.

When laning against stronger laners like Jax, poke with Q, and utilize W+pots to sustain.

When using E, you have to move a certain distance for the damage to be strong. So stack Q and Conq stacks in between that time. Q has no delay in motion, so it can be used during E or R.

His Q is stacked during lvl 1.

Missed by a hair inch.

NEXT GAME PLEASE

“YOU? I win lvl 2 with my crazy sustain”

When using E, you have to move a certain distance for the damage to be strong. So stack Q and Conq stacks in between that time. Q has no delay in motion, so it can be used during E or R.

Check out this MASSIVE healing.

“I have 3 stack Conq with Q, and have last stand activated now”

It’s not that Aatrox isn’t strong. It’s just that the healing covers a lot of the damage.

While laning against ranged champions, just focus on stacking Q early game. When you hit level 6, that’s when you go in and fight. Before R, just try to catch any mistakes.

“Lvl 6… lvl 6…”

Go in with R, hit Q, get Q and Conq stacks.

“Ranged champs are a bit pain in the ***. It’s easy after 6… Gank might’ve been helpful. Welp, on to next game.”

“You just wait buddy. I’ll kill you soon.”

Use Q for 2~3 stacks in Q and Conq stacks, AA and W for Max stack in Conq. Use the corrupting potion, then go in. KILL.

That’s it. This is why Hecarim is currently OP in Top lane. Let me know how YOUR experience was.

Which champion will be featured in my next video? To be announced… :)
