[9.9] Master Yi not so in deep guide

By LuxIsMyCrush
Welcome to my Master Yi guide, while I will try to teach you how to play Yi, and some tips for low elo junglers that hopefully want to improve.
As for my experience in game, I started playing League at the end of season 7, and started to seriously play rank in S8, I used to main top and jg, and now mainly top, having a pool extremly limited for jungle right now.

So why should you learn to play Yi?
Well Master Yi is a kind of easy champion, without any hard mechanics to learn like Riven, Irelia or Lee so basically you can focus more on the game and decision insead of doing your combos. Even if Yi is quite easy that doesn't mean he's bad or that you can't be better with him, that does just mean you will learn how to play him, his strengtens and weakness much easier.

His dps is inase with good itemization and in low elo can carry most of times 1v9
Camps and starting of game
So there will start with your first camp, most of times you will start at red, unless there is a good reason to don't do so (spoiler: there will not be a reason to not).
Since rift scuttler got a hange of his time spawn, you will now not have to play around it and can do a double buff clear and still have time until it spawns.

Now an obvious thing but I seen a lot, but a lot of people in low elo don't know how to react in an invade.

So the option I seen most junglers do is to start at their other buff, well.. that is a big disadvantage so if you choose to not fight for your buff, you should go and steal enemies's one. Since it is on opposite part of map they will have no way to contest it, it's easy, is the most rational decision anyone can make, just do it insead of blaming your team for losing a buff and gold you decided to throw away, You have nothing to lose, but to win doing so.

Well now about ganking, to explain that better i made some draws on map with the spots from where to gank (counting you should be on red side, hope is obvious how to do if you are blue side)
cool map

Now to explain a little bit, the bush ones are if you are sure enemy doesn't have ward there, usually top will never do, but on bot side are chances.
The one while if you come from behind turret are for dives counting enemy is relative low hp or easy to kill in a matter of second.
The rest I think are very intuitive.
Master Yi is kind of dependet of items to be useful, most importants of them being Skirmisher's Sabre - Bloodrazor and Guinsoo's Rageblade which are basically Yi's powerspike.
Is a great item for aa oriented champions, it's max hp percent damage is insane and can melt anything. Also the passive of Skirmisher's Sabre on smite increase even more your dps and reduce target's damage making it almost impossible to lose a straight 1v1.
Guinsoo is another great item for Yi, it deals on-hit damage and apparentlly will no longer be as useful as beforebut anyway is still very useful, and being able to spam on hit effects twice with a basic is really powerful.
Death's Dance is another item from the trio of what I consider best items for master yi, it give you a lot of ad, more sustain and make you tankier with it's passive.
It's a good on-hit effect which heal you with the amount of on-hit damage done by this item. It is ok, but not the greatest item in my opinion, still a good sustain option
Frozen Malltet is a nice item to be sure your enemies can't run aways, constantly slowing them with every auto you do and give you some extra health and ad making you a tiny amount tankier

Are some defensive options against some situational matches.
I think Guardian Angel you would want as last item, if you don't alerdy choose a defensiv item, it grant you some armor but most importantly it revive you when you die and allow you to buy a stopwatch without wasting it after usage.
Needless to say you should be looking to gank and take dragons early game, then when Herald spawns place a control ward around it and if you have an ocassion do it right? Well now I said it anyway, you're welcome.
So the important thing about objectives should be, what dragons are worth taking?
And to answer that, those would be infernal dragon and mountain dragon .
Those 2 particullary works the best for you, but well any dragon is good if you can take it, do it.
Anyway Infernal dragon give you more damage and as someone that spams basics the amount of damage from it really matter, while Mountain dragon help you to deal more damage on turrets and epic monster (a.k.a other dragons, baron or herald)
