Threats & Synergies
Ryze tends to build into somewhat of a bruiser than can CC your initiation attempts with one, non-skill shot spell. Make sure he has his Rune Prison on cooldown before going all in.
Another champion that can put an instant stop to your all in attempts with CC. Landing Parallel Convergence might do the trick if she is in its circle, but make sure you can get there, either through dodging her Q or making sure its on cooldown.
A fairly easy lane as long as your good at dodging a good amount of his skill shots. When he ults, make sure to have your W ready and cast it on top of you immediately. Then, wait until he appears and ult to both negate the damage he just did and damage him a ton, stun him, and go all in on him. Better yet, stomp him out early and make sure he can't do much of anything at all!
Literally your worst nightmare. Don't expect to win lane and roam when you can. Going all in will be hard since he has so much zone control and lots of damage with it. Don't ask the jungler for help to make sure they dont die only to feed the Donger.
Be careful and choose your time to strike. When she is low on mana is best and an an MR item under your belt would be great too!
Easy as it gets. Dodge is stuns and he wont be able to do anything to you!
Your lane just became very dependent on skill and skill alone. Whoever gets a kill first has a major advantage in lane and you should then call for backup. And roam to catch up. Don't jump the gun, be patient and wait for a mistake if needed.
Fairly simple. You need to do both of these things before going all in: 1) Make sure Wind Wall is down 2) Make sure his shield is down These 2 things are key to getting kills and getting ahead of lane. Hold back until then.
All too simple really, just don't get cocky. Treat him like a threat and that he can kill you until you are 3 kills in, then you can relax some.
Like every other one of his opponents, your success depends on if he can use his Gold Card on you before you go all in. Do with that as you will.
As an Ekko player, you must realize that you are powerful at most points in the game but are always delayed in how fast you kill someone. Akali will kill you before you even have a chance to kill her, but only after level 6. Pre level 6, its your lane and you need to stomp on her as hard as possible, killing her as long as you don't die too.
Pros / Cons
- High damage assassin
- Lots of mobility
- Large AOE stun
- Great skins! (Sandstorm is the best in my opinion, though I own and use them all)
- Stupendous all-in potential
- Effective with many builds
- Easy to learn, hard to master
- Sufficient in a good amount of team comps
- Doesn't fall off unless the Ekko player fed badly
- Skirmisher, small window of time to kill an enemy
- Stun can be hard to predict to cast
- Lots of value lost when behind, but not always all
- Mostly skill shot reliant
- Most effective only when ahead
-Land your W then use your E to dash and blink into the area. Once the are stunned and you landed your E, use your Q and auto. If still not dead, keep auto-ing and/or ignite them. Use the movement speed from your passive to bolt on out unless you keep auto-ing, in that case, use your speed to keep up with them and finish them off.
-Cast your W where the enemy team is GOING to be, don't cast it where they are at the moment unless they wont move any time soon. Once you E in, prioritize the biggest threat to your team and blink to them to get your 3-hit passive off. Once you do that, do NOT stay unless your team kills any threats that will kill you. Otherwise, run away and join back into the fight with your ult if there are any left (at least to you can hit with the ult's AOE damage).
Quick and Nimble
-This one is a bit more risky and, thus, more advanced. Throw out your Q and, if it hits your enemy laner/opponent, then immediately E forward and go ham. Position yourself so that your Q will come back and hit your enemy again and keep going until fried. Best used in the mid game on anyone that isn't a tank and won't have any CC available.
