Because you are not maxing E first for poke, most of the damage will from the Q E combos and adc dmg, this is why you need to be tanky early on.
Skill Sequence
Maxing Q first is the best option since you can go to hook city all day
Maxing W second is a good idea since it provides a Iron Solaris shield to the team.
