I: Introduction (About the writer)

Good day, my name is Sydalrg but you can find me on EUW as Corazon De Leone! At this moment I am Bronze 4... sadly. Lately I've been favoring the toplane and the jungle in ranked games. For some reason every time I've had been in the promo matches I lose the last win I need, and whenever I'm about to be demoted I manage to get back up to around 40 LP on the same day. Pretty messy, huh? I'm just unlucky. :D

II: WHY AD TWISTED FATE!? (Pros / Cons)

When I bought Twisted Fate I originally assumed he was an AD Caster. I was extremely surprised to see the lack of Attack Damage based Twisted Fate's around. This playstyle may not be as popular as your average day AP Caster, but I can assure you it's well worth the effort!

+ Pros:
+ Has built in Attack Speed increases
+ Can stun
+ Can roam easily with his ult
+ His E gives him Attack Speed and extra damage
+ The extra damage from his Stacked Deck synergizes extremely well with attack speed

+ Along with Sheen, can be a threat to even tanks.
+ EXTREMELY strong splitpusher
+ Not so mana dependant.

- Cons:
- Squishy
- Not as powerful as AP TF early game.
- May have trouble with high burst champions.
- Weak AA's before items
- Item dependant.
- Build Costs ALOT of gold.
- People will cuss at you for going AD.

III: Items for AD Twisted Fate

FIRST BUY

Alrighty then. So first off, when you spawn you go with a standard Doran's Ring and 2 Health Potions to start. You need the passive and the extra HP/AP is extremely nice. The reason why we went with a Doran's Ring first is because your mana cost is REALLY heavy. And people get fooled into buying Magic Resist.

FIRST PURCHASES

Your first main item will be a Sheen. All TF's build this, and even AD TF needs it. Why? 1; The mana. 2; The passive. The AP is nice for the passive damage you get from your Stacked Deck. Boots for mobility and Avarice Blade for 1 sole reason; Farming. This synergizes SO EXTREMELY ****ING WELL WITH YOUR PASSIVE ( Loaded Dice). Don't let this opportunity go by! Every 3-4 minions you'll get the extra gold as if the wave had another minion. It might not seem like much but with 100 farm? That's an easy 2k gold extra you have there. Oh and crit chances.

MIDGAME

Upgrade your boots to Berserker's Greaves and get yourself a nice little Trinity Force for TONS OF DAMAGE. Now here's something I can't stress enough. You do not ->HAVE<- to build your Avarice Blade into a Statikk Shiv. The bonuses you get are nice but the blade can give you so much extra gold. Plus, if you follow this build, farming lanes will be a piece of cake and well, split pushing OP!

NEXT ITEMS

Get a Runaan's Hurricane. You mainly get it for the Attack Speed, however. Mixed with you passive ( Loaded Dice) and an Avarice Blade you'll be itching to farm lanes and get some jungle creeps. The best part? IT'S SO EASY! Load up a red card from Pick A Card when you're about to head into lane and throw it somewhat in the middle. Get all the minions to focus on you and START THE THROWING! Next item is Infinity Edge for the useful crits buff. Eventually you'll build your Avarice Blade into a Statikk Shiv and when you have both Infinity Edge and Statikk Shiv along with really good attack speed, then good luck to whomever you face! Yellow cards + Crits OP!

PICK ONE (The Health stuff)

Now listen up kiddo. Whenever you play someone that is ment to be a CASTER, he's probably Squishy as ****. Twisted Fate is no exception. He won't go very far at all without any health items. Let's just put it this way. If you go in a Teamfight as our lovely Card thrower with a full build AD and Attack speed and such, but you're squishy, you won't even be able to do enough damage that it might aid your team. Make a choice between Randuin's Omen or Spirit Visage. Or go nuts and go with Warmog's Armor, but I prefer Spirit Visage for the Cooldown Reduction. But purely situational.

IIIV: WHY HYBRID TWISTED FATE?! (Pros / Cons)

When I bought Twisted Fate I originally assumed he was an AD Caster. I was extremely surprised to see the lack of Attack Damage based Twisted Fate's around. Even though many will try to break the meta, it might be a bit more safe to go with a mix of AD and AP, whilst maintaining a nice amount of Attack Speed.

+ Pros:
+ Has a nice mix of AD and AP damage
+ Can stun
+ Can roam easily with his ult
+ His E gives him Attack Speed and extra damage
+ The extra damage from his E increases with AP
+ The passive attack speed from his E goes well with the extra damage.

+ Along with Sheen, can be a threat to even tanks.
+ EXTREMELY strong splitpusher
+ Destroys people in 1v1s.

- Cons:
- Squishy
- Doesnt excel at either AP or AD.
- May have trouble with high burst champions.
- Weak AA's before items
- Item dependant.
- Build Costs ALOT of gold.
- People will cuss at you for going Hybrid.
