Akali is quite an amazing assassin, and what makes her so strong, his her incredible speed, her Stamina Points, and cool down reduction. When using certain elements of this correctly, she can become a disaster for enemies, and appear as a character that is almost a ghost. I find her to be quite useful in pvp, and bots a challenge far too easy. You can be ksing, or gaining an incredible amount of kills as long as you use her correctly. Akali is not a character meant for jungling, or rushing. She is purely meant for head to head and sneak attacks, which can be easliy obtained by hiding or getting that last hit rush. Regardless of this quide, it may not work for everyone, so please be advised, each character can be completely unique for every summoner. This is a build I find to be quite helpful if you want to get a quick kill.

Building her items is what makes Akali so crazy as an assassin. Her build is everything, getting all your stats to green is very beneficial, and the higher they are the better. AP is key, Key, KEY for success with her as well as cool down reduction. Defense and Resist is a perk that makes her even that much harder to kill. Akali has a fair defense for her own anyway, but getting it to green will make it easier to get kills befor deaths. Make sure to build AP before AD and keep your speed up, and you will never let anyone get away. Be wise when picking starting items, and when to buy the boots. Timing is key to success as well.

Akali has many more pros than cons, but her cons can be very severe when her build is not the best. Her great speed and AP make her a monster when attacked, but her low Defense, and Magic Resist, make her an easy target for turrets, and casters. When using Akali, be aware of her resist and defense. But all in all, she is a great killer.

Shadow Dancer is the best move by far that makes Akali so good. It makes it very difficult for enemies to get away, which is what gives this Asassin the edge. Usually depending on how Akali is built and enemies are built, It doesn't take more than three times to kill an enemy, especially ADC. Any ranged ADC can find a huge challenge when faced with Akali's quick precise manuevers. So time your abilities right and you will have a serial killer on your hands.

Because Akali does not have Mana, you don't have to fear and preserve, so using abilities on Minions is very useful in farming. Her SP regenerating is quite quick, and takes no more than a few seconds, so Akali can quickly gain experience for high minion kills. Staying near battle and away from stronger enemies is also great for Akali, her speed gives her the edge.

All in all, Akali is a very great character to play with if you really want to make people angry in game. She can be very difficult to play with, but the more experience you get using her, makes other characters easy to build. I find her to be quite useful in PvP and Bots, and her wide range of builds makes her unpredictable. So master her, and conquer many. As for Ranked battles, guides become more ineffective. Ranked battles is purely for those who like to test their skill, so a build becomes unique to such a summoner. For Akali, if you have the space, throw in a Phantom Dancer for extra speed, and then the rest is up to you.
