Introduction
It's gonna be short, it's gonna be basic. I'm not trying to teach you how to play. You know how to do that. I'm just giving the bases (I can't be the only who come here just for a basic concept of WTH am I going to do in those 2 minutes that take to loading the match, haha), so you can refine it with your style.
Enjoy:
Pros: He's the Fresh Prince of Demacia Can be a good ganker Good CC (Know-up, slow, dat ult) Armor and AS buff / Armor debuff |
Cons:
Whining about bad experiences with Jarvan's ult Can be a lame ganker CC needs two skills, and they're both skillshots Somewhat blue dependent early on |
There's no much to talk about jungling with Jarvan. As you'll get Demacian Standard first, you get your leash, throw the flag and smite the blue. Now you're level two, and get Dragon Strike.
Now the jungling part consist in hiting the camp with Demacian Standard and pull yourself to it, hitting all the neutral monsters with Dragon Strike and knocking them up. Then you just need to hit all the small ones once, kill the big one and, if they're not dead yed, kill the little ones.
Gank as you please (There's going to be tips. Just wait for it). When you recall you should be able to finish the Spirit Stone, buy Boots and two more Health Potion. It's around 900 gold.
Go back to you jungling/counter-jungling/ganking. Know you can choose to finish your boots (it can be Mercury's Treads or Ninja Tabi, according to enemy team) or you can go straight to Phage. I usualy buy the Phage first, but that's your call.
After that, though, you should finish your Frozen Mallet as soon as possible. Then Avarice Blade, to get it out of the way: You'll need it later. After the Avarice Blade you might want to finish the Spirit of the Ancient Golem. You can also finish your Atma's Impaler before it, if you want.
Now, if they have too much AP (or a feed AP Carry) you will want to finish the Spirit Visage first. If not, you can go to the Warmog's Armor. You can also try Randuin's Omen for the utility of it's passive, if the armor you have by know it's not enough.
As for the boots' enchantment, you can try Enchantment: Alacrity. I don't really have a solid opinion on this subject. So, once again, you call.
Tip 1: With the combo Demacian Standard -> Dragon Strike you can move even if you're snared. That's useful.
Top 2: Don't try to predict the enemy path. Just throw the darn Demacian Standard on their faces and use Dragon Strike as fast as you can. Then slow with Golden Aegis!!
You can also Cataclysm them if you know that they don't have flash/escape is on CD. But know this: Your ultimate (unlike people usually think) is primarily a DAMAGE skill. Yeah. Just like that.
And talking about Cataclysm leads me to an important subject:
If you do that you'll probably just ruin your team's positioning of your teammates. You should use Cataclysm to chase down hunters.
In the teamfight you use the same com as ever, you throw Demacian Standard in the middle of the enemy team and Dragon Strike. Make sure you'll knock-up the ADC, or at least land on his side. Then use your Golden Aegis and kill the ADC while your team burst their AP Carry down when all the enemies are defenseless in the middle of air.
Remember the Cataclysm? So, if the ADC flash away you use it and finish your job of killing him. If he's someone like Ezreal or Caitlyn it no use in do that, so you kill the AP Carry if he's still alive and try to conciliate damaging who's dangerous in their team and protecting who's important in your with your CC.
