Lucian love CD and since build lacks it, this will make up for it.

This will make up for the weak late game.




Alternatively you can go wich is especially good against armor stacking champions like Rammus,Malphite

The first item you gonna buy. With 1000 mana you can finally spam your abilities like a madman without worrying of going OOM. Once fully stacked gives you 65 AD plus bonus damage on-hit on your autoattacks ( an extra 60-120 physical dmg, based on your current mana). Now doesn matter if you start building if you buy first tear or pickaxe, once Manamune is completed will take you 12-14 minutes to transform it to Muramana. Just remmeber to always spam you abilities while they are off coldown to stack its passive faster.

DeathDance heals of all form of physical damage dealt, sustaining Lucian during teamfights and making up for his short range

Underated item: cheap, highly helps you winning duels agains enemy mages, magic dmg on-hit means a full combo of Q-W-E will deal an extra of 240 magic damage

Can be bought instead of Wit'sEnd. Strong vs dueling champions like jax,fiora,yasuo, xin zhao. Plus a 30% chance of your auto doing double the damage.

Black Cleaver gives Lucian some much needed cooldown reduction which will help him proc his passive and continue chasing with his W.

Enemy building more than one armor item, this plus BC will get you even.

Enemy isnt building armor? Bad for them more fun for you.

Guardian Angel is
always good prevents you from giving to many gold to the enemy team

You are never wrong buying this, it increases you dps wich equals more damage.

Playing against assassins that stack lethality, this will make them hurt less. And since Lucain's damage isnt intirely based on autoattacks he can build this without losing too much power.

Lucian is a cool champion. He is the most versatile ad carry in the game, you can build any AD item on him and it would still work may be a bit awfull but still playable.





Lucian is naturally oriented towards on-hit builds. Dont believe me? just take a look at his kit: his passive allows him shoot twice each time he uses and ability. A full combo take around 2 seconds and it can fire up to 6 autoattacks. What other champion can do that? maybe kogmaw and guess what, he also builds on-hit items. Also the fact that everytime Lucian was strong in the meta he built on-hit items(trinityforce, bork, black cleaver). Thats should tell you something.



WHY MANAMUNE ?
1)is cheap only 2400 gold
2)gives you 25 base AD + 30 AD (you get from maxmana%) + around 40 AD (once item is completely stacked) on you autoattacks against enemy champions. Thats 95-100 AD for a 2400 item.
3)quite importan is solves mana issues.
4)thanks to the recent buff you can fully stack it around 21 minute mark (beforhand it took
you 26-28 min)

Lucian short range puts him in situation where he is more prone to take damage that other
adc, 40 magic resist up to 65 will help out
3)gives 40 magic damage on-hit. As stated above a full combo of 6 autoattacks in 2 seconds
will ad an extra of 240 magic damage
4)it shreds enemy's magic resistance helping you teamates that do magic damage, do even more.

IS THIS BUILD BETTER THAN CRIT BUILD ?

In League the majority of the games is won aroun 30-35 min when you have 3-4 items(4-5 if consider boots). And since the 4'item is usually last whisper lets compare the first 3 items you buy on both builds

4)this build is consistent, doesnt rely on RNG to deal more damage,

Whyile crit build is more casual burst damage build,
Blucian build is less more consistent sustain based build,

-use your abilities everytime there're off coldown to stack manamune faster, also when coming back to lane after recalling.
-dont buy only tear and proced with next item you need to complete Manamune otherwise it
will take you 28 minutes to stack it and will lose a consistent damage
-take 10 CD from runes helps you a lot, i know this builds only 20% cd but what you get in
return is worth it
-to kill enemies try taking them by surprise by dashing in with E,firing W,hit them with the culling R, and the finish them with Q-auto
-if games are lasting to much and you have a lot of gold to spare, sell boots for triforce.
