Easy early just bully her as much as possible pre Six after six avoid 1v1ing her and look to make plays with the team
Ahri
Easy early avoid her poke and charm and just wave clear til JG ganks or farm until 6 and roam
Annie
Easy early just watch for her flash ult and abuse your range advantage
Fizz
Easy early try to kill pre Six bully him off CS as much as possible early, after six flash his ult or E damage to win a 1v1 against him. avoid him post six if he's ahead and just play with team
Zed
Easy early can kill pre six post six avoid him and try to ward so he cant roam effectively, if he all INs you just W on top of yourself while he's ulting you so it hits him soon as he lands behind you then Q predictively so you stun him as soon as he comes out of ult animation
Azir
Easy early you outrange him since his changes, post six is a pretty easy fight for you just dont stand inside his soldiers
Katarina
very difficult matchup she is just going to play safe by poking/farming with Q til she wants to all in you you have a good chance of killing her early but if she gets ahead she can just 1 shot you before you can even stun her avoid 1v1s with her and look to engage fights before she has a chance to go in
LeBlanc
very difficult matchup a good leblanc will murder you in lane and set up ganks for her jungler with ease, ask for help in this matchup and try to end laning phase as fast as possible so you can outshine her in teamfights before she snowballs
Aurelion Sol
easy match up, just try to wave clear level 1-2 and at level 3 you can really out trade him and all in after poking him down a bit, his shove/roam tactic is hard to deal with but as long as you ward and ping effectively you should be able to keep him from doing much you will outclass him in teamfights
Taliyah
easy match up cause all her spells are skill shots that you can avoid just try to keep up with her wave clear and follow her roams
Twisted Fate
easy match up, hard part is he can play super safe and set up ganks for his jungler always take cleanse in this matchup just try to match his wave clear spam ping when he's mia and follow his roams
Orianna
Easy matchup abuse your range to bully her early and avoid trading AAs with her her. stormraider surge can really help you in this match up cause she will have a hard time landing an ult on you if you stay on the move.
Diana
easy lane but she snowballs hard and her all ins are difficult to avoid cause she can just combo you and you combo her and try to run but she can just ult you against and generally finish you off, you have to avoid her Q and abuse your range advantage
Malzahar
easy match up you can literally bait out his ult and cancel it with a well timed stun, you can counter his wave clear just W his voidlings when he goes to shove lane with them simply position forward to zone him from AAing minions so his E doesnt spread you can pretty much just 1 shot him before he can get in ult range
Anivia
easy pre six post six can be difficult just avoid his stun and proc stormraiders surge to get out of his ult ASAP you have a big advantage in teamfights cause you have so much more dmg than him
Lissandra
Easy match up, really bully her in lane and avoid her poke/pick potential and you'll carry teamfights
Galio
pretty much impossible to kill him 1v1 until late game DFT probably your best bet against galio
Lucian
DFT ignite best bet... you can poke him at level 1 avoid his level 2 spike and at level 3 you can outtrade him and even kill him
Brand
stormraiders brand > DFT brand just avoid his stun and dont stand close to minions and its GG
Corki
he has lane dominance cause he can shove lanes harder than you and out trade early with AAs... just land good combos and spam ping when his package is up and he's mia
Cassiopeia
easy matchup avoid her level 2 spike and once you're 3 you can out trade her just proc passive and back off she wants to take extended trades so position safely and dont miss your stun
Kassadin
easy pre six post six he's very difficult. when he Qs you just AA him twice and then hit him with W, ask for a gank cause post six if he's not behind he can really snowball a game by roaming
Lux
Easy just dodge her skill shots and bait out her E poke before going in to trade or CS avoid her snare and you're golden
Syndra
this is a skill matchup probably the most similar champ in game to brand except she'sa little stronger single target burst... take barrier and HP/MR runes
Talon
Easy if played correctly pre six post six he's dangerous but you can smash him if you get an early lead
Vel'Koz
very easy match up you can proc stormraiders surge and just avoid his ult all together
Vladimir
difficult early cause of his sustain dont trade when his bar is red just farm and wait for ganks take ignite
Ziggs
you can outpoke him by dodging his Q and landing your pillar you can all in him when he's over extended and procing stormraiders surge makes it impossible for him to land ult easily
Veigar
easy until he starts to scale up after he has 1 shot potential you just have to avoid him... cleanse/barrier good spells to take vs him maybe even rush ROA or abyssal
Yasuo
easiest match up for stormraiders surge brand... this build was designed to destroy champs like yasuo just avoid his level 1-2 and dont waste spells on his windwall and you will destroy him
Im a Diamond Brand main and a season 1 veteran, I've mained Brand since season 3 and I've abused stormraiders surge for 2 seasons now. im 2nd on NA in brand Mastery and 8th in the world, i was top 20 on NA and top 100 in the world on lol skill last season. this build is disgusting at carrying/cheesing not great if your team is lacking damage and enemy has fed tanks with a strong ardent/redemption support. This build has incredible potential once you get frost queens stacked and rylais. Check out my Youtube if you want to see some highlights with this build https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGWjSPoffJ0OVL70n3TOycA
Runes
Runes
trade HP per level for armor against AD matchups and trade scaling CDR blues and m pene for flat or scaling MR against burst AP champs, can trade Movement speed quints for AP or Magic pene quints against champs without skill shots
Spells
Spells
take exhaust against champs like zed/talon take barrier against champs like malz/syndra take ignite if your jungler is going to camp your lane take ghost if enemy team lacks hard engage and has alot of skill shots take cleanse against champs like TF/Veigar/Lux as long as you can use it effectively against other champs on enemy team.
Skill Sequence
Skill Sequence
standard spell progression can take E at level 2 for more wave clear against heavy shove champs
Items
Items
This is the tricky part... knowing what to build when and why, rushing frostqueen isnt always ideal sometimes you just want to get the 350g component of FQ and them go straight into your core rylais liandrys then finish frost queen 3rd item, like when enemy tanks are ahead or you get way behind in lane. if you're really behind rush sorc boots and haunting guise ( this will make your spells deal true damage to squishies), if ahead or even just go frost queen into rylais. rush seekers armgaurd against AD matchups then finish zhonyas when needed
Masteries
Masteries
12-18-0 against champs that want to bully or trade with you early annie zed fizz leblanc lux lucian
0-18-12 against shove roam champs like taliyah Asol TF Corki Malz
Ranked Play
Ranked Play
I abused this build to diamond 2 seasons in a row, the build really pops off around 20-25 minutes into the game after you've stacked frost queens tribute and you've got rylais and some magic pene and once the map has opened up a little ( towers down ) you can abuse the movementspeed and cdr to take extended fights
Pros / Cons
Pros / Cons
you're a little weaker with this build early but your roams and chase/kite potential is very powerful in mid game (15-25 minutes) and your outplay potential is huge against champs with skillshots. also this build is great at engaging/disengaging for your team. the damage you miss out on from DFT is easily made up for by landing an extra W or passive proc which you will be able to do quite easily with the extra movement speed and cdr this build offers
